i don't understand... shouldn't an armature , at the end, be rooted in(to) something... so that the figure is straightup and you can start putting clay on it while it stays straight ? I've never done this : )

Yes you can use a length of wire to wrap up the spine and hang the sculpture from above or you can use a section of bent metal rod to attach to the sculpture in the hips or lower torso area. kzbin.info/www/bejne/d4XdnoGGnL1sq9Esi=trQ5p26o432__TpU Here's a video that shows some of the options and how I like to do it.

The owner of the house is one of the people who does not have mercy, by God, my brother. He comes every day, insulting us, talking about us, and moving from the house to the street because we were unable to pay him the rent. The neighbors saw us crying and came back.They came back to talk to the neighbors and we were given the weekend. So we made him swear by God. He will take us out into the street. Have mercy on him and us. Our country is due to this war and we do not find food for our day, and my brothers and I live in a difficult life. Our father died, may God have mercy on him, and we have no one in this world who was with us in these harsh circumstances. By God, to whom belongs the dominion of the heavens and the earth, they closed the door and expelled them and came back crying. They are dying of hunger. Have you considered taking a class or 2 on marketing, if you can see the opportunities where you could make more sales, but you don't know how to convince people to buy, it might be worth it. Also expanding your awareness to recognize opportunity, or where you might create opportunity, might help. Look locally too, sometimes businesses and communities are looking for artists or you might see a way to convince a business or community leader that an art installation might be valuable to them. It's a tough lesson to learn, how do I sell my skills, where are my blind spots, and where can I create an opportunity where there was none.

Hey Andrew. I'm on a bit of the opposite side of the situation, went into construction straight out of high school and I enjoy building things. I am also an artist and that shows in my work whenever I get the chance but I still long for some free time to paint. When my wife and I were dating we did a pai t night date and that got me started (I had always shied away from color, only drawing and shading). I've done some since but now with children and full time work, it's hard to carve out the time. Income is also tight, as we decided my wife would stay home to train the children. I love your videos and philosophical discussions. Keep it up

So-called pro-life people think they are preserving the sanctity of life, by forcing people who are not fit to raise children to become parents. If you do not speak out about what's going on in Gaza, if you do not speak out about the tyrannical enforcement of medical procedures imposed on us globally, and if you're not willing to raise the children that you are "fighting" to keep alive, you should not speak out about morality at all. In my experience only those who have very limited experience with suffering believe that life must be sustained at all cost.

Ok but in some scenarios a woman does miscarry the child, IT DIES by no fault of her, but it doesn’t come out. The child will slowly kill her from the inside out if they don’t get an abortion to remove it, but it they do they could get LIFE IN PRISON because they don’t want to die. I’m not saying abortions shouldn’t be banned but if they are we need to find a solution, such as a mother being able to testify why she needs to get one like if the baby is literally dead.
@AndrewJosephKeith
@AndrewJosephKeith 12 күн бұрын
The removal of a miscarriage is not an abortion. No pro-life legislation prohibits the removal of a child that has already died from natural causes. An abortion is the direct and intentional killing of the son or daughter in the womb. (A failed abortion is when the child survives) that is what should be illegal. Conflating miscarriage treatment and abortion is like conflating a heart attack with being stabbed in the heart. It makes no sense.

@user-ig9mh5vg1m 10 күн бұрын
@@AndrewJosephKeith I’m not saying that prolife people like you are trying to ban that. I’m saying actual US states have banned that because any tissue in the uterus cannot be removed because that is classified as an abortion. How about we focus more on the living woman instead of an unborn child? We should let them control their own body
@AndrewJosephKeith
@AndrewJosephKeith 14 күн бұрын
The son or daughter in the womb is not “their own body” and that is who is being killed during an abortion. Of course the people who want to justify the actual killing will try to remove the focus from the victim of the violent act of homicide that is an abortion and focus instead on the mother and the reasons that she would want to get rid of her son or daughter in the womb.
@ToffeeToof
@ToffeeToof 14 күн бұрын
@@AndrewJosephKeith the reason why we are removing the focus from the fetus over to the woman is because they are the ones who have to go through the consequences of the birth, and therefore their rights and choices should matter more. Regarding money and time... Making wire armatures is a bit time consuming. if you were to find some way to have the body wire armatures mass produced (probably in china), I can see it taking off as an art supply for sculptors and students. All the best 👍 Regarding the ivory towers being practically nonessential... I was hoping the house of cards would come crashing down during covid, when we finally started reconsidering the structure of our culture. I suppose that didnt happen, after all 🤷‍♂️

Good point! Maybe I can even manufacture some premade armatures and sell them to see if there’s interested. Then look into manufacturing if there is a market for them. Yes as an online instructor I think of telling college students “you know you can find all of this information online for free or a tiny fraction of the cost?!” But it’s just the momentum that the education system has set up. I think people are starting to wake up to the reality that it’s usually not worth the cost.
