I've realized that 99% of the time, someone looks confused about what he's saying, but he'll either be using NO advanced vocabulary or will explain what he means anyways. Examples: "I found multiple idiosyncratic words... words like 'soda' and 'pop' " "Multiple unsubs experiencing a psychotic break in the same location is exceedingly unlikely" Also, when he explained the history of birthday candles lol I notice this a lot with the genius characters on shows.

1:05 ok for anyone who doesn’t know what’s going on in this episode Reid gets shot in the leg the same day hotch is stabbed by foyet I can’t remember the season or episode as I’m only good at telling you what happens in the episode but I’m not good with remembering the seasons and episodes names or numbers. 6:12 ah yes the strangulation game episode so basically they have this case where someone puts a game up for people to see how long they basically can hang themselves for and who hangs themselves the longest wins but it actually causes several deaths in teens

The part with Reid playing chess with the kid: Take away: every kid should have someone that can challenge them to their full limit, see what they are capable of----not sitting in a classroom being bored. We need to seriously change our education system.

the refusing painkillers bit hurts. and the look on the docs face when she realizes why someone would point blank refuse Narcotics is just. auggh. its been over a decade and it's still a kick to the stomach. for anyone who doesnt remember or missed it: reid was given natcotics by an 'unsub' while their prisioner and subsequently developed a problem with addiction. he went to FBI NA meetings while in recovery. he refuses any painkillers because he knows the stats on relapse and knows that the pain is better than the alternative. like the old addage says "once an addict, always an addict" it doesnt mean you cant recover but that you'll always have to be extremely careful because it's so much easier to get addicted again.
