I was born the year of Lombardi’s first World Title with the Packers. Lombardi time is what I taught my kids. They both excel

Vince will always be the greatest coach to ever lead a team in the NFL. I wish I was old enough to have watched the Packer games in the 1960s. I was born in 1963 so I was very young when these events happened…Long live the coach in our hearts. BTW, I am a Cowboys fan who respects the coach…

Fantastic Eulogy by the unforgettable Paul Harvey. In dedication to the greatest Football Coach the world will ever know. Saying that Vince Lombardi was no "Gentle Giant" is an understatement for the ages. A GIANT he was nonetheless. By teaching and motivating men to such a degree that they produced the finest standard of excellence in the history of the game. A Coach, a man and a team like no other.

I found this stuff in like 2008-2009 when it was uploaded to Snotr. Seems very few people my age have seen it; I'm almost 30. The driving instructor one is one of my favorites

The greatest coach eulogized by the greatest commentator of all time! They are sorely missed by the generation in which they lived. We will not see the likes of them again. As always God bless you and yours and thanks again for everything you do!

Perhaps Vince's quieter legacy is to not ignore any ongoing health issues, making his passing that much more regrettable.

There's a story in the book by Dave Maraniss, When Pride Still Mattered, about a paperboy going to the Lombardi home to collect. The paperboy was so intimidated that he could hardly speak to Mr. Lombardi. Was that you?

No that was not me I delivered the morning Milwaukee Journal to his house and never got to meet him his wife always paid me it could have been the Green Bay Press Gazette delivery boy or one of the other delivery boys that delivered to his first house when he lived on E Mission St,both houses were in the town of Allouez which is just south of Green Bay
