If you guys regularly do serious overlanding, then a Toyota 4Runner will serve you much better than the Pathfinder.

Pretty cool cart. QQ - how do you deal with the riving knife/blade guard release lever on the left-hand side of the saw (as you face the front)? I see a small gap between the side support and the table top, but I don't think my hand could fit in there. Are you able to reach it from the front?

That's soooo cool! Its so good to find a good set up for the same model. Do you think it would make a big difference if we don't remove the second row's seat?
@TheNomadStudio4 ай бұрын
Thank you ! If you don't remove the second row seats, still you have a bed platform as it is. But space we get without the seats is very useful to store our bags, gears and cooler.

Hi, great video! Can you tell me what type of wood spacers you used? Thanks!
@TheNomadStudio6 ай бұрын
Thank you ! I used some leftover scrap wood for my spacers. It doesn't matter what type of wood. You can use anything you have in hand. or simple cut off a small pieces from the same wood strip you were going to use for this project. Hope it helps.

Hello Preeti, I am planning to learn woodworking. Can you give me some info how to start and what tools are good for a beginner and some budget friendly tips too. Internet has many videos for how to’s. But getting collective info from a DIYer like yourself who has experienced that would be more helpful.
@TheNomadStudio7 ай бұрын
@shwetapatel7596 Hi there! I'm thrilled to hear you're interested in woodworking! Here are a few tips to get you going: Begin with some essential tools like a tape measure, a combination square, a jigsaw or circular saw(to cut), a power drill(to connect wood with screws), drill bits set, sanding blocks and some clamps. As you get more comfortable, you can add more tools based on the type of projects you are interested in making. I built the interiors of my camping trailer (my first project) only with a jigsaw and a power drill. So, I believe you can make anything with some creative mind and basic tools. Feel free to send direct message if you have any more questions. Happy woodworking!

Hi guys. Very impressed. I have the same car as your Roxie (I think that's what you named her) and I know its a capable car. Just wished there was more ground clearance (Ive already scraped the gas tank plastic cover) lol. Other than the flat tire, were there other noticeable damages from the trail? Pin stripes on the sides or under body damage? Loved the video! Keep up the adventures!
@TheNomadStudio7 ай бұрын
@apmor3738 Hi there! Glad you loved our video, and thank you for your kind words! Yes, our car's name is Roxy, and I agree that more ground clearance and a slightly larger gas tank (at least 2-3 more gallons) would make it even better. Regarding the trail damage, besides the flat tire, there were a few other issues. In some parts of the trail, we had no choice but to scrape the underside due to thick vegetation and weeds, but fortunately, nothing too severe. We did hit a rock that dented the muffler, again nothing too severe. As for pin stripes, we ended up with plenty by the end of the trip. Most were fixed with some compound and polishing, though a few deep ones remain. I like to think of them as battle scars from our memorable adventures! Thanks again for watching, and keep enjoying your own adventures with your Rock Creek!😀

@TheNomadStudio Thanks so much for the info. Figured you can't have that much fun and adventure without some lasting physical memories lol. I agree the scratches are badges of honor. I also have your car camper build setup for roxy bookmarked as one of my projects soon. Thanks for sharing!
