It's not dumped. I just cut the tail pipe off at the last hanger.

Wow 10 years .... I have a 69 Ford F 250 390 I'm putting Patriot headers on it would be like you did either super turbo or thrush glass packs ,I like the super turbo sound it's mean .....I looked at your clips to see what a single ST muff sounded like I have the camper special aux tank be tough to fit 2 under the frame . I had old Midas 27 inch diamond round mufflers lol one went outside the frame the other inside previous owner had it done in the 70"s truck sat a long time

Flip flowmaster ....that sound went out awile back this is the best sounding muffler I heard I searched tons of sound clips it has the perfect balance quiet idle then opens up at top end ...

Bamboozel96 That's what I liked about it as well. The muffler lasted about 10 years and over 150K miles and then had a small hole rusted through. I have now had to replace the cats and I put a long Thrush glass pack on. It gives similar sound and is still pretty quiet just driving but it is a little louder throughout the RPMs.

Nathan Markwell how loud is it. I'm not looking for ear rapeing sound I'm looking for normal exseloration and a NICE DEEP RUMBLE I want some drone in the cab so I can hear it costing at 45mph but again I don't want the sound of stright pipe does this glasspack give it a nice deep rumble that drones 5/10 inside the cab?

@@mitchelldaniel2350Mine did not drone much in the cab but it had a nice deep rumble. You could hear it in the cab but no drone. You can create drone by changing the length of pipe after the muffler though.

Thanks! I wanted to hear if it would crackle much (I like to keep the snap,crackle, pop in my cereal)but it's a nice smooth sound through the RPMs

man... sounds good but you should go get a good aftermarket tune for mph gains and to loose that damn Rev limiter. I know you've gotta be tired of getting kicked back at 98-99 mph.

Not a joke at all. I need it to go that fast. I regularly get mine up around 125mph. Wtf cares about aerodynamics. We build power down here. More than enough to get over 2 tons moving at those speeda.

Does it sound louder in person? I've got an 18" Magnaflow on my 95 C1500 dumped out the side in front of the axle and it's a bit too loud because I have no cat on it. I want it quieter but not too quiet, thinking this would be a bit too quiet for me. It'd be a single 3" exhaust with no cat, offset ST muffler and a turndown, maybe angled 45 degrees out the side.

snakesonaplane2 It will definitely be quieter than the 18" Magnaflow. Without a cat, I'm sure this would be a lot louder than it is as well. Unless I accelerate hard I can hardly tell a difference from stock outside volume, just a deeper tone. When I get on it, It is definitely louder than stock though and no cat would greatly increase the volume of both.

PappaJ Is yours a center/offset muffler? I'd like to get mine in offset/offset because it's supposed to flow a bit more and be a bit louder. Also is it the 14" case or the 20" case? I'll go for the 14", I want quieter but not by a lot, just for when I'm hauling a heavy load it can be pretty loud after a while.

It has been a great investment. Its small enough he could handle it at 6 but big enough that I ride it on a regular basis too. The auto tranny and throttle limiter is great for learning. It handles pretty good and is big enough for me to ride with him when he was learning.

There was a little when I first put it on at certain RPMs but after trimming some off the tail pipe, as you see in my other videos, the drone in the cab went away. It doesn't sound much louder than stock in the cab now. BTW... I have over 100,000 miles on this muffler now. Still sounds great.

Yes, it is quite a bit louder and deeper tone. Didn't notice any performance difference.

It depends on how old you are. It is perfect size for my son, but also perfect for my wife who doesn't have a lot of experience. I also have fun on it, since it's the only one we have, and I am 6' tall and 210 lbs. It carries me fine through wherever I put it... hills, mud, but does lug a little bit on rock climbing as it needs some RPM to make power.

I found this one on Craigslist, like new even had the little nipples & paint stripe on the tires still, for $1100. You can usually find them for around $1500-1800 used. New is around $3200. Depending on your age, you might look at the Bayou 250s too, if you don't mind shifting. They're about the same size as this one.
