Hidden gem. Secret weapon. It's astounding to me that this free, 2 decade old Synth Edit creation is so unknown because it's arguably one of the very best ambient/atmospheric VST synths out there.

this is really good i love reversing sequences not long since got Serato Sample i like the fact it can do stem separation
@opticalman64178 күн бұрын
is that a preset sound ?
@LarsLentz8 күн бұрын
No it's just something I put together, but I probably didn't start it from scratch, either and probably modified a factory preset. You want me to export the preset and send it to you? It would be no problem.

@@LarsLentz yeah if you can upload the patch that would be great thanks

@opticalman6417 Try this link to my Dropbox: www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/bbpwmcj43agrr6fufdcyo/h?rlkey=namklfss3liymvzxcn4cynh2n&st=b4et5sx1&dl=0 I put the preset in there in the Arturia MiniFreak folder. It is named "...BoC Keys..." Also this link is to all the rest of the presets for various synths and effects that I have shared so feel free to copy any of them out of there. Let me know if the link does not work - sometimes there are problems with Dropbox. -- Lars.

@opticalman6417 Good Lord, that would be so cool! I think this MiniFreak soft synth is one of my favourites and I could only imagine the hardware would be great too. But, I would probably not get any other work done. 😊

Hi, is this in ableton, or which daw or synth is used?
@LarsLentz10 күн бұрын
I use FL Studio for my DAW. The synth is Phonec2, which is excellent for the BoC sounds.

It's interesting that you're using Dual Mono versus Stereo. What made you pick Dual Mono?
@LarsLentzАй бұрын
Excellent question. For me, I find it widens my stereo image in dual mono and some of my stuff needs that.

@LarsLentz2 ай бұрын
No problem! But I'm not selling anything - it is free and below is a link to my Dropbox where I put the flp, MIDI and a bunch of other stuff. Look for the subfolder and you'll find it in there. If you have any difficulty, let me know (I don't always share the link correctly). Link: www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/rer7m3dexk2ipwndtu59m/h?rlkey=dq4ej5lm3gyrct4b3dv7znn7r&st=nk9ge0e0&dl=0

Lovely, you nailed the sort of tension between the uneasy sounding chords after the nicer, less dissonant first chord sort of progression that stars of the lid are good at doing.

What a beautiful city you have! I work for Bosch so sometimes go there or Miskolc. That Continental Hotel is one of my favorites. I guess it was an old Roman bath house years and years ago. Such beautiful architecture and those huge doors at the entrance are something!
