Hey Todd thanks for watching! Haha I can imagine you may be troopered out by now, how long have you been collecting for? Yeah spending time before giving final thoughts made for an easier review process to be honest. Thanks for the advice on IC customs I’ll check them out! Hopefully better than buying a second figure. Also I’ll have to look out for a video on the loose head. It holds position fine but I worry it will get worse over time.

That’s a lot of Maul! Any clone wars of Solo mauls in there? An upgrade kit would have been nice! But, and as much as I love HT, I think they knew most of us would pay up for a whole new figure lol

@@jimcollectorI don’t have the Solo or Clone Wars Maul. However, I am slightly interested in picking up the Solo Maul now at this point. I think the 1.0 Hot Toys could do with just a headswap. The figure is basically the same, outside of that. The 2.0 has better sabers and a better speeder and has removed the suit padding or heavily reduced it. The cloak might be worth getting as well, because the 1.0 cloak wasn’t good.

Haha you are probably right, good opportunity to get the 2.0 without the speeder. Glad they did the same release with the 2.0. Pretty much identical lol for me it’s a good opportunity to get it with the speeder as I only had the dx16

Yeah sometimes Hot Toys just miss the mark. Same with the sculpt on Doc as well. That needed a more calm head sculpt at least as an addition.

I would definitely recommend him, especially for that price! The outfit and head sculpt are really good. The body used isn’t the best but once he’s on display you don’t notice that at all :)

Hi mate thanks for watching 🙌 and yes I agree, form a distance the sideshow definitely looks better to my eye, up close you can see that their quality isn’t quite as finely tuned. A mix would be ideal for a 2.0. Hopefully it will happen but im beginning to think it’s probably unlikely.

I’d love to see a Revan movie but I won’t lie, I don’t trust Disney to do it any justice at the moment. Which is a shame. We will see how they handle the high republic era with Acolyte I suppose

Glad you got him on PO! Revan was a Star Wars character I have discovered more recently, mainly through the books but I’ve always been aware of his existence haha his character design is brilliant and his story is also really interesting.

Yeah really glad they did that with the sculpts. They also make for great display options for other head sculpts when not in use. Kind of a Futurama style haha

Yeah the cable pops out quite easily which is frustrating. It works but if I move the figure around a little bit the cable pops out and I have to reconnect. Not an issue once I’ve posed him up and have him on display but a bit frustrating.

I've requested a replacement box from sideshow as the port for the right hand belt box appears to be floating around inside the control box

@@DanCooke1982 interesting.. I’ll check to see if I have the same problem. If it’s just the box I wonder if I can swap out from another figure. Bought mine from Pop Collectibles so not sure I’ll get a replacement box but worth a try

Good point! That’s generally my view now as well. Especially if it’s designed in a way that you can’t open it without damaging the packaging.

The stand comes from the InArt figures. They use them to hold the head sculpts. Just thought Vaders helmet would look cool on it 😂

Hey! It did actually! However it doesn’t look broken and just clicks back into place. It came off when I first opened this guy up and gave me a heart attack! When i realised it just pops back in I relaxed a bit haha
