Hi mate. If I remember correctly swim 14 is one of the end swims. There is a gravel bar in the middle that you share with the opposite side. Always a good bet. And you'll have a margin bank to the left. This is a really good spot for the carp using particle

Hi mate, unfortunately the owner has asked me to stop telling people as its an invite only lake.

I would say kettles is your best chance of a bite... sandwich and prairie would be better fish

@@southeastfishing510 i know what i did wrong 40 spombs of pellets the 3 bigger fish come on single baits with a little mesh bag of bolies away from the baited spot i think i have worked out the old lake now im getting amongst a few im after that big mirror i see it in the flesh at 37lb once i catch it it will be on my youtube channel.

Yea small baits for more runs, bigger baits for the bigger fish. Walk the lake first before you set up. And when you do setup, just do your rods and be prepared to move if you see fish else where. Might be worth taking some dog biscuit for surface fisbing

I've been on and off trying for a Ray for years mate lol never had any luck!! Bluey cocktail baits on pulley or up and over, in the right locations... but still no luck lol

The Actor bait boat is a great cheap basic boat apparently. Few years ago they were dirt cheap, however, I believe they have gone up in price recently (along with everything). Another option is buy second hand??

I believe you can live bait all year round, but might get the odd carp as it gets warmer... I have not tried jigging but I believe its allowed. Best to ring and ask the lake mate

​@Southeast Fishing thanks - I went last week and tried your tactic - I had no problem catching a small small roach but didn't get any action when I live baited with them (or with the worm on the float, to be honest). It was sunny and the water level was very low, so I think maybe the perch weren't having it 😅 I also used a quiver tip on the ledger, which maybe they felt the resistance on? I'm gonna try using my pike drop indicator with a buzzer next time 🙂

@TheProgrammer93 ah that's a shame mate!! It can be very on or off that lake, I went the day after this video and blanked myself... so goes to show what a difference a day makes!! Having it sunny definitely doesn't help.

Yes definitely. I've been sea fishing a while now, but only really started taking it seriously recently. So getting there... plaice and thornbacks are on the cards soon
