Can’t see my last comment to edit it, so I’ll just post a new one. My mum loved peanut butter growing up, she liked a variety of fruits and vegetables. She is now allergic to most raw fruits and vegetables, tree nuts, peanuts, and can’t handle dairy and gluten very well.

@@FitNerdyJew Yeah, very strange... almost like we don't fully understand allergies yet and should be careful about making sweeping statements? I mean ironically I've never really had peanut butter but if I encounter it I'm perfectly fine. I might have an almond issue... but that's debatable and I'm just being cautious at this point. My mum's got so many allergies that I avoided them all growing up... and I don't have any allergies.

@ generally speaking, being exposed to an allergen is the best to prevent the related food allergy. It doesn't work 100% of the time but that doesn't make it any less true. There is plenty of research to support this
