If the kid is a reader, one should start with a mute card + a label +a control of error card; if the child is a non-reader, one should start with a control of error card+a mute card+a label

Most Montessori Materials are designed to suite for 3 years age span. So, same materials can be used in several different ways to meet the children's need. She presented one of the ways which suitable for younger children who doesn't read yet.

I agree with Julia and Carmel, this video shows the lesson backwards. the picture card should come first. then ask the child to read the word card and figure out which picture card it goes to.

myworksmontessori videos are very nice, but there is often, unfortunately, very disturbing audio feedback. To delaniefae: you may never have learned the work by these names, but I'll bet you learned how to solve this: (a+b) x (a+b) x (a+b) = Cheers

I use double sided tape on a little rolling thing for scrapbooking that I get at the $store and put a tiny amount at the back of each picture and they stay on super well. I've had to laminate very small pieces once and it worked great, no shifting!

I never learned binomials or trinomials... and I'm a senior in high school. Hmm.
@paulcarson78607 жыл бұрын
You never did the binomial theorem? Or a binomial square? Did you do differentation? How about the number 'e', have you done that? Where does that come from?
@carmelbowman350511 жыл бұрын
That's the beauty of it. The children do not have to be able to read to use these cards. They can start experiencing the different aspects of the object being studied early on. They are paying close attention to the highlighted feature on the object and learning the names if ready. And yes they are great for vocab and for reading. In that case, the card with the word is used only for the child to check his work.
