This is an amazing discovery ya'll have made! Talk about the most natural way for a puppy to feel like it's nursing from Mom. This is indeed a Yorkie. The official name is called a Biewer Yorkshire Terrier A La Pom Pon. They originate from Germany.

Dangerous, puppies have a strong sucking , she could reap the sponge & choke w a piece of sponge, is better to use the tinny bottle & small rubber nipple, SAFER ,

Great video! However, a puppy should be fed while lying in their tummies & not their back. This will prevent milk going into their lungs causing aspirational pneumonia.

Actually, puppies often nurse on their moms while lying on their back and sides. Never had a problem.

My Maltese (Paris) just had 5 puppies. Puppies were born Sunday morning. We took Momma and puppies to vet today. Vet said Momma doesn't look like she has enough milk for 5 puppies and I needed to supplement. I tried this method today. I was only able to get one little girl to latch on. How to I get the others to open their mouths to start sucking? I am so worried. Help please.
