I cant imagine the feeling of getting a rated level sadly... Im so bad at making levels, i have an idea in my head but when i do the exact same thing in the editor it looks crappy and i give up... One time when platformer just released i started to think thats impossible to get a rated level, then i saw a level called "How To Platformer" i was like "why did you make this?" ,then suddenly IT GOT RATED WHEN I WAS LOOKING A light appeared, i thought that if i make a better version of it i will finally get my first creator point! I started working on the beginning of Febuary 2024 on my masterpiece, first day, 100 rooms done, second day 50 (less and less motivation) The progress was slow but with help of my dear friends and family who were playtesters i couldnt give up After many bugs,hundreds of full 2 hour completions and many sleepless nights i made it After a total of 10 months i finished my biggest goal, i. Made. GDTRIALS a 1000 room platformer! The platformer had many new aspects that were never introduced in other platformer type levels It changed the color and gimmick every 10 rooms SO it had 100 Different Gimmicks! It also features secret rooms(like infinity, power of 10, Espilon, negative rooms etc) that reward you with different prizes! I had many troubles with this level, after finally pressing the upload button my heart was racing, "what if it wont upload?" Then my voices dissapeared when i saw a green checkmark the level was posted on the servers... After this moment i did everything to spread information about my creation of every imaginable platform Reddit, Discord even GD itself! I was checking the level non-stop for like 20 hours till i fell asleep from pure exhaust... I was so excited! All of my friends wanted to play it with me and finally see what is a GDTrial! Next day i woke up to something crazy... The level hit 100 People on globed AT THE SAME TIME! HUNDRED! I was so happy! People enjoyed the level, some found bugs and reported them to me cuz they were sure its gonna be rated! It was the best moment of my life... But everything good has an end, in this case, it was a quick one... 3 days later the level was forgotten, no soul on globed was active in it, 10 months of work for 3 days of pure joy, just to be erased Mods said its not even send worthy after reviewing 20 rooms not even looking at what i put later... The level was just abandoned even if i updated it... This made me realize that i failed, failed as a creator, after this i gave up on creating levels, i dont want to waste my time for a "possibility" of a reward Its not worth... Im not saying im not happy, glad you enjoyed playing my level and im happy that even if only for 3 days, i built a little tiny fandom, playing GDTrials was extremely fun but also it not getting rated made me realize how high the standards are Thanks for reading all of this and remember...
