Hey thanks We went up in April, and we were incredibly lucky with the weather. We had professional crampons, but we lacked rope, harnesses, helmets and ice axes. Well, while I'm really happy that we made it to the base of the tallest peak, I am a bit sad that we couldn't go to the tippy top. That's a trip for another time. If it was summer, as long as you had a helmet and proper footwear, I'd say climb it, but with the ice and snow, you should make sure you get the right gear. Talk with Monika at the store, 55 peaks, in Litochoro, she helped us tremendously. Happy Ventures Shane

@@shanesventures1986 ahh thank you so much! I really want to video some of my races this year, but wondering what will create good quality whilst running and on obstacles. Wanted a budget option, but from reviews looks like you can't beat the quality of a go pro, so might be worth the investment.

@@shanesventures1986 I am! Need to book asap and I'm wanting to do the 30km I think lol. So I was hoping you would say 15km so I have a good idea of the kind of thing to expect :) Great video!! I joined Spartan last July and completed the trifecta weekend in October, so trying to work out how it compares. I've been training lots but 30km is probs two laps so it brings a harder mental challenge, along with the cold too 🥶🤔 I'm still pretty new to OCR though, so any advice appreciated! I run long distance so that aspect is fine.

@@jennyaniecko6059 That's great, honestly my mates and I paid for the longer one but when we found out that you just go over the same obstacles again, and the sun was going down , we decided to call it quits
