Thank you Father Paul. The message from your reflection about Sunday's readings and Gospel is so vital in today's combative world we live in with our fellow brothers and sisters. What a powerful message that the closer one comes to God, the more one is called beyond oneself for the sake of others. What a difference this would make if we all practiced this. Love helps us when dealing with conflict with others. Perhaps, that is easier said than done, but thru prayer, all things are possible with God. Thank you for reminding us that conflicts are mostly due to our wrong tone of voice when dealing with others.

Thank you Father Paul. I am very appreciative of your words about baptism. If we do not ponder what baptism means in our life, we could miss the importance of God's calling and purpose for our lives. Having a purpose and a mission and being commissioned is vital to our spiritual health and mental well being as we continue to combat a secular world that seems to want to dismiss love of God and neighbor in our lives. Understanding the meaning of baptism seems key to developing a healthy parish and a community. Truly love these reflections.

A slight technical hitch midway! But, a lovely film, nevertheless . A reminder of what our mission is, bestowed upon us at Baptism, in the same way that Christ’s mission was bestowed upon Him when He was baptised by John. This reminder of who we are, and what our divine mission is, is very timely. After two years of imposed division, from so many quarters, it is time for humanity to remember Jesus’ command that we “must love one another”. This is the perfect time to start. ❤️

A thoughtful commentary on the importance of gifts received and given. God, the Father, gave us the gift of Jesus, his only begotten Son. We give the gift of ourselves to Jesus by living a life if love and service to others. “The love that we withhold is the pain that we carry.” Well done, Father Paul, your message is perfect.
