My ‘24 Duramax has 2600 miles on it and I’m shocked how little DEF it uses. I may have to drain and replace my DEF in November when I’ve had the truck for a year. Yes, it’ll have an easy garage kept life for its first couple years till I retire.

that was alot of talking to say you got a tire that fits!.... Falcons are great tires and truck looks great!!! the manufacturers do it for MPG wars with other brands.....usually just let stock ones burn out then upgrade....GMC is a lil tricky cuz of their wheel wells

GM tryna think they can expect customers to pay for shit like this. The problem is for now only EV won’t accept CarPlay. It don’t be surprised when it applies to the rest of the line up. Sure right now we simply use android auto or CarPlay. It when GM removes that were SOL.

I have a new 2024 Sierra HD and when OnStar lapsed after 30 days, I use google maps off Apple Car play. Works fine there. But, yeah, it pretty shitty that GM wants to choke an additional $15 a month out of it customers just to use basic Nav functionality. They also were selling your driving data to LexusNexus and to Insurance companies for $$$. They recently stopped selling it due to a class-action privacy lawsuit. We'll see where that goes. - but, if you have an Apple phone, you can use carplay to use google maps. Works fine.

I believe they leave the 2 gallons as an absolute emergency situation. Because supposedly at 1,000 miles left of def it tell you something and then again at 800 or 500 miles. I’m guessing they just want the truck to go empty on def.

I got a 2024 2500 Zr2. I noticed the fist 1000 miles I had to add a good bit of Def fluid. I was thinking they never filled the tank all the way from the factory which irritated the hell out of me. Now it seems fine and I barely use any. I think it had something to do with the computer and the first regen. I was starting to think something was screwed up. Give it some time.

How is the traveling noise? I had a roll and lock system and it would vibrate making a rattle noise while traveling at highway speeds super annoying. I sold it as quick as I could 😂

I’m sure it’s a tad over 7 gallons on the def tank. They never add the hose going from tank to opening. Same goes for fuel tank. I really don’t know how long those hoses are

Lots of miss information on this video . Look at your duramax owners manual. Under capacity charts. It is a 7 gal capacity def tank not 5.3. On the 2024 gmc heavy trucks . Do your homework before spreading wrong information.

I own a 2022 gmc 2500, the thing that bothers me is that the truck doesn't tell you when it is in regeneration.

Why not just get navigation from iPhone and pipe to truck’s screen.

The DEF consumption on my '23 2500HD Sierra varies wildly, according to load...pulling a 4,000 lb travel trailer into the wind at 69 mph is totally different from the same empty with a tail wind. When hauling a load over 1,000 miles with anything less than a full tank of DEF, I recommend carrying a jug of fresh DEF on board, and keeping an eye on the consumption gauge...don't even need to think about it, it is what it is.

Hey there ! Those 1300 miles are the trucks first miles. Def usage has gotten much better,however diesel usage is basically city 14-15 and highway 19-20. Ironically I let go of my 2017 f350 with 100k miles and mileage was very much the same as this Gmc 3500.😮 Except this truck has greaseable Ball joints and rides like a caddilac

HOLY COW ! MY 2023 F350 with the 6.7 high output powerstroke diesel gets 17 city and 22 - 23 highway at 70 mph all day long. Do you have a heavy foot or something ? 😮 It’s a 2023 F350 Lariat Tremor. That computer estimate has got to be wrong. 😢 My DEF tank is 7.5 gallons and I get 4500 miles per tank.
