There are small instructions at the top of the Gaze Point for Snap box that are often overlooked. To get back to the main Communicator 5 home page please make the Gaze Point for Snap box visible on the screen then tap on it and hold until a small box appears around your finger then release. This will open another menu, then select home page. Hope that helps!!

Hi Ryan. Thanks for the feedback! Tobii Dynavox does offer accessible apps but they are through the Communicator 5 application and work on the I-13/I-16 devices. Regarding launching something directly from TD Snap you would launch an application and select your preferred browser executable file such as the chrome application file and then toggle on the advanced option and in the command line arguments field, you can type the exact website you would like the button to launch out to, such as www.netflix.com, etc. The problem is that these aren't accessible in getting back into the speech software as easily. Typically mounts that are no longer needed see 1 of 3 avenues. 1. Sold on Facebook, Craigslist, Ebay, etc. 2. Donated to a local school and used as a tax write off 3. Bring up the quick menu guide and select edit the page set. Select the button and then use the fill tool just as you would in other Microsoft style programs. Make sure to save your changes :)

Hi Christie. You could go into the settings and into the editor tool and select the button you would like to hide as well. Also are you using Compass 2.5? If not you may want to update the software and redownload the page set from mytobiidynavox.com as this release did fix this specific editing bug. Please know that if you use the newly downloaded page set you will need to reprogram your buttons as the prior changes you made on the original pages will not import. As always please ensure you backup your current page set before making any major changes so that you have a safety net to fall back on if something does not go as planned. I may have over complicated things as well. For example if you are in quick phrases and you select a button and then enter info modification mode you should be able to select the last tab option and check box the hide option to hide the individual button. Thanks.
