They dig a pilot hole from the upper level, and then from the lower level, they bring this machine and they connect it to the rod that are still in the pilot hole. Knowing that the drill is on the upper level, it brings up the boring machine, it seems like its suspended in the air but its connected to rods that are in a hole in the middle
