The company kicked him out because he was dating a fan when he wasn't supposed to (jyp groups have a dating ban when they first start out their career because they'll be too busy for relationships) and he got caught only because the girlfriend kept posting about day6's private schedules and she bragged about it a lot which made people suspicious about it Also day6 have international popularity as well because jae (American) and youngk (grew up in Canada) are fluent in English and the other 3 can understand it to an extent but the group's activities are put on hold right now because the members are currently completing their military service and Jae left the band on January 1st 2022. Plus you dont hear about them much probably because of how Jyp doesn't promote them as much as the other groups, Day6 make mostly pop rock music (along with other subgrenes of rock) which isn't a big thing in south korea (at least not anymore) because korean gp likes kpop music more, the band went on a hiatus in 2020 due to mental health reasons which meant they went silent that whole year and forward, and yeah. Day6 were at their peak statistically in 2019 and were at their peak music-wise in 2018

@@lizza6379 oh thanks for answer. You knew a lot. And poor guy. He should ve been professional (no date rule is kinda stupid actually). I ll bet he was so regretfull about his past choices and i doubt that he is still in a relationship with 'the fan'. So he lost his chances for nothing :/ (but still why fans are angry him to date a fan ? I mean its company rule. Why they think dating someone is bad ?)

@@BG0178 Jyp entertainment they don't want their idols dating until they are 3 years into their careers (idk if that's been changed or updated) because the relationships could interfere with the idol's work (Jihyo from jyp and Daniel dated at one point but broke up because they were just too busy) and it could cause issues between the idol and their partner, something scandalous might happen (the idol has just debuted, the company doesn't want anything bad to happen or any troubles to begin because that will tarnish the image on the idol and their group and companies want their groups to have a clean image), the fans can get jealous and completely drop the group or be jerks to that one member. In this performance, "fans" were giving Junhyeok the silent treatment but they've also sent hate towards him because they felt betrayed (Kpop companies rely heavily on fanservice culture because those types of fans pay the most money and are dedicated so the idols have to agree on the contract that they will appeal to the fanbase by carrying the "available boyfriend/girlfriend" image on them until the company decides to change that concept for them. Though this is bad because it will attract delusional or stalker fans but companies sometimes don't care they just want money and idols to use as puppets. This wasn't the case for Day6's debut image but they had delusional fans anyway) Also I don't think you have to worry about Junhyeok anymore although years ago he said he was afraid of singing and being seen on stage, he seems to be doing really good and happy and healthy now [Edit: i forgot to mention this but he released new music last month so i think he's back on track with making songs]
