Saw her twice on stage. 1st at the DESERT 🏜 INN. In Las Vegas in 1971 and again in L.A. at the Grove at the Ambassador Hotel in 1972. And in person on Rodeo Dr in Beverly Hills. She was with two tall men. I walked up to her to tell her how much I admired her I'm 6ft and she was taller than me. A class Woman with Class talent.

I saw Juliet Prowse in a revival of Can-Can right before she died. She was still gorgeous as ever. We lost her far too young.

... so very sorry that the last number.. (which she also performed @ the Film Trust Arena in Jhb in the 70'ties as I recall.).. ran out of copy before the end of the wonderful dance routine.. but Thank you so much for posting.. she was a sensationally hard-working talent.. a well-deserved star performer who never fully realized her special & unique place in the artistic world of her time... not entirely embracing her stardom..xxx

I had the privilege of working on the road with John McCook many years ago (what a great guy!) and he not only spoke so wonderfully of her, I once heard him day "I don't think she realizes how ridiculously talented she really is!"

My grandmother knew her when she lived in Vereeniging. She always said that Juliet had legs coming from her shoulders all the way down to the floor with a personality to match. 😄

I was fortunate to play as a solo cellist with Juliet Prowse in a show at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle, Washington. We had a phenomenal pianist in the band - Peter Lederer. Peter was a Holocaust survivor and one of the most talented musicians I have ever worked with. Juliet entered the stage during the first rehearsal while Peter improvised a beautiful, jazz introduction for her song. She suddenly stopped in her tracks and walked over to the edge of the stage to look into the musician's pit. She saw Peter and said, "Oh, it's you." Apparently Peter had accompanied her before and she recognized his incredible musical talent. It was a very special moment. She came down next to the piano and leaned on it while she sang with Peter accompanying her. She was a real lady - a very sincere artist and person. We went on to rehearse and perform shows and I will never forget the experience. She was an electric artist on stage as both a singer and dancer. Her artistry was of the highest and she was a joy to work with.

I think it was Las Vegas in the early 80’s. She provided the clip to include in the documentary

@@danielbotha1428 long times ago, she was sing and dance this song "All that jazz" in The Monte carlo show 1980 or 1981. And I still looking for that show, thank you so much

I recognise it as a nondescript jazzed up intro' version of the song called "All that Jazz" which this intro' ultimately and vocally leads into... it's from the broadways musical called Chicago...

@@northstar9able thank you for answer❤️❤️, I knew this song is from musical Chicago but I want to know about this show is from which show of Juliet Prowse and on which stage? Thank you so much
