That's a really nice setup, currently considering a 1630 and the gang tooling route. That's the nicest setup I have seen so far.

Saw TED talk, "Amos Winter: The cheap all-terrain wheelchair" today. Reminded me of this video of yours that I saw years ago

Where are the breaks? Or were they simply not used because the demonstrator is able-bodied?

How about a video demonstrating the chair in action including loading/unloading into car? How about a reference to the product? Thanks.

Interesting concept with some possibilities! Is it titanium or aluminum? Where can we get more information on the chair? Thanks.

Like, this video is hosed because it's a 16:9 widescreen image horizontally squeezed (and distorted) into a standard 4:3 frame. Hopefully your updated version won't be hosed as well. Way to go, babe!

I have sent all the cad files via email, hope you like the concept. If you have any further questions please email & I can explain the principles. Greg.

Very nice concept! Please see my KZbin video at SIMKINETICS channel for our IVT that might be attractive for your drive system. The SIVAT inherently drives forward output with forward & backward input, and cannot coast backwards; just like yours. We're lookng for investors and/or U.S. Government grants to fund development of it.

The wheelchair was made to forward the development of this beneficial propulsion system. Every effort was made to include all the features required, especially in the transition period between manual & powered wheelchair use. It is widely accepted that continuing physical excercise before using a powered wheelchair is beneficial. The prototype & design information is available free on loan to interested developers. We are not actively seeking potential purchasers for this model. Greg
