As of now barring magic or miracles iaf will not be able to fullfill it's required / sanctioned 42 squadron strength so iaf must have plan-b and plan-c 1) As a short measures iaf should take a leaf out of the lessons from ukraine armed forces which by having an minimal airforce is keeping at bay world's 2nd Or 3rd largest airforce-russian airforce by acquiring ground based air-defence systems as well offensive capabilities like drones and missiles. 2) As a medium term measure should try to induct indigenously built tejas-1a ( preferably with indigenous upgraded kaveri engines in the future ) and more indigenously license built su-30( preferably in super sukhoi configuration) to arrest the drastic downfall of squadron strength. 3) invest in more force multipliers like awacs, aerostat based aews, air to air refuellers, more-C-5-ISR capabilities like drones, istar and electronic warfare capabilities and network all the sensors and weapon systems of individual armed forces(army , navy airforce) to help IAF achieve "more with the less".

We are literally begging to Russia for the past 9 months to provide us a slot to test the engine. We need to invest heavily in test bed and high altitude testing facility. We can allocate money to buy drones from General electronics why not invest first in our own testing facility. Without our own engines keep begging to Russia or Usa for TOT once they say no, then take a flight to France and beg them for tech transfer.

It's not just the Taliban that seeks positive relations with any country willing to engage with them. Unfortunately, Pakistan has been meddling in Afghanistan's internal affairs for the past 50 years, and the Taliban are acutely aware of this. The recent bombing by the Pakistan Air Force in Paktika province, which resulted in the deaths of innocent civilians, including women and children, significantly altered the Taliban's perspective on Pakistan's intentions. They now feel that Pakistan aims to exert control over Afghanistan, particularly regarding foreign policy, reminiscent of the historical influence the British had on Afghan affairs. However, having recently emerged victorious against the U.S. and NATO forces, the Taliban no longer view Pakistan as a dominant power to be subservient to. They are actively engaging with India, recognizing it as an important country in the region and a potential partner for trade and economic cooperation.

If India and Afghanistan want to strengthen their relationship it’s possible because Afghans love India more and India love Afghanistan because of our great friendship and hospitality, by the way the the analyst have shed great light on the issue 🤙🤙🥰

All indian aerospace projects blocked only one reason no proper engine, and no proper engine because no proper testing faccilities, no flying test bed, no high altitude testing, because govt only interested in its chair and hate politics and saving adani

The reason for western countries not being involved like Syria now is 100% Pakistan (chatelistan) policies and secret manipulation of the devil chatalistan government. But you are absolutely wrong about participation of ex Afghan government politicians which majority of them were thieves

Most of the so called advanced weapons of China have failed during testing. For example, USAF commander said that they were not worried about China’s most advanced fighter, the J20. Similarly Chinese weapons imported by other nations have suffered from multiple issues. Remember Pakistan retiring Chinese AWACS planes within a few years of induction and then later buying European planes to replace the Chinese ones. Fact is, China doesn’t have the capability to retake Taiwan, let alone challenge India on the border issue. The Chinese simply are in denial mode, believing India to be still in 1962, one person rants about this a lot on this comments section. India has risen, no doubt and it is China which has to reconcile to the border issue. A decade on, and the first flag of Tibet could very well be on Tibet territory.

If India does not interfere in internal affairs Afghanistan, we believe India will have no better friend than Afghanistan. Never ask the Afghan government or people of Afghanistan who should or shouldn’t be in the government. This is my friendly advice India and other nations.

The Honourable Major General has deep knowledge and understanding of real Afghans (Pashtuns) feelings and aspirations. Afghans never been terrorists or want to neighbouring countries. Real Afghans are men of words. So, my request from India is to engage with the Afghan government in positive terms, and build strong relationships with them. Real Afghans will never do any harm to India, and never forget what good deeds Indian do. We, the Afghans strongly believe the Pakistan is artificial state which created on the land of Afghanistan land (Khyber Pashtun khowa & Baluchistan) and on Indian land (Punjab etc). Our Afghanistan & India) goal should be to dismantle this artificial state (Pakistan), and get back the land back to original owners (Afghanistan & India).

Anything is possible. If you haven't done it yet then it is your fault. I don't see these guys pointing out faults which can be corrected. They keep saying we can do it but how the heck that is helpful to anybody. Also IAF is not in good hands. If they were then why are they in such dire situation?
