there used to be a game by square enix called last remnant with that huge party feel. It was split into teams, ff7 can technically have 3 teams which is kinda perfect for it.

This is too funny, imagine being a bandit or something and getting JUMPED by like 7-8 party members. Traumatizing as hell. 😭

I think having hot swappable party members mid battle makes sense since they're all standing behind on field anyway and lots of games did it like Tales of series, perhaps having some synergy attacks activate when tagging to another partner. FF7 is still a 3 party member game but keeping everyone on screen available for switching on the go would be a great addition.

The three members limit thing has always been console limitations. It's hard to implement as long as console gaming is still a thing. FFVII OG was the first time they had to scale down from 4 to 3 members. They went back to 4 in FFIX and that game suffered from long load time and low framerate. We stuck with 3-4 members and hardly see any evolution.

I actually don't like the way this looks other than for shits and giggles. For playing the main game I wouldn't want it like this at all. It's far too chaotic and messy looking. Not only that but on a console which Reborn is gonna release on first, will make the combat blurry because it'll have to scale back visually to hit certain targets. On top of that, they'd have to completely redo the HUD which would also be far too much on screen. The 3 characters with the others in the back is the right choice, plus it's faithful to the original game.

I can't believe the system is running that without any issues. It's really impressive. Still, I don't think it's a good idea for playability to control the whole party. It would make things extremely easy, with everybody with full ATB almost all the time.

I need to get an ssd someday so I can play this game properly. I've done a ton of adjustments to make it work a lot better on hdd but I still have texture loading and frame drop issues. Sigh... I need to get a job and/or hold out till ff7 rebirth is better optimized

How to fuck the game 2ould be to add in gambits. Gambits suck. Theres a much better system in the tales of series. You can just set simple strategies. Gambits can go fuck all the way off.

7:00 isn't that what dynamic mode is for in Rebirth?? That setting is there so the enemy's level adjusts to the party's level on how strong the party is later on in the game. This mode is more difficult that normal mode but is easier than hard mode.

My take ! Weapons fight They just need add magic canon system that player CAN aim weak point + rebirth air combat BOOM ! They will have system that CAN fight real size godzila ! ONLY problem is progression of team fight need to be smooth enough to have a good time but not down right eazy and not have any deep in fight ❤ Deep of real time combat kinda has a problem with rebirth too Solve object in fight in rebirth just so-so Not Hit deep hard !(but again deep of real time combat kinda "gate keeper for NOT hard core combat fan just story enjoyer fan" too It a hard problem need master to solve , but my take With this big world With this so many monster SE need to show rank of monster exsample : Legendany hard Hard Normal Easy Show player before hand Give a choice before player start fight With this solution player CAN choose their own style and experience ! * But same monster should be many rank like chocobo same type should be legendary hard or easy randomly Becuase player should allow to fight every monster if they want to ! If they do do this in part 3, they definitely have to reintroduce some kind of gambit system. Juggling all 8 party members (9 if Aerith is included in some form) is just way too much.
