Best way to pack! Only the essentials, none of the just in case items. It would be interesting to see what you end up with after 3 months.

Solid and fun wee challenge, 25k was pretty trivial as I live here but I imagine for someone who doesnt know scottish towns/cities it could be fairly hard. GG :D

Hi, this is a nice video. I want to ask about the Round 3 (around 3:30) - could you please explain the thought process a bit as to why you picked that specific area of WA? I'm still struggling with Australia and to be honest WA is my weakness due to its huge size 😂 good job explaining though, thank you so much!
@RoseEvans0121 күн бұрын
Yeah no worries :) It looked pretty green which in WA typically means you are either in Perth or south of Perth, and it didn't seem built up enough to be in the suburbs. Thick trees in the distance like that could indicate a national park or forest of some kind, and national parks are also concentrated on the coast south of Perth (from Perth all the way around to Albany is the general area that looks like this). The Margaret River/Busselton region is in the middle of that area so is a pretty safe guess, and I got lucky that Boyanup wasn't too far away. WA is definitely tricky though, good luck!

@@RoseEvans01 Thanks for your answer! I slowly get a grip of Australia now, especially on moving games. Cheers!

9:34 I could teach you how to regionguess bhutan if you are interested. its a small country but its really easy to learn the basics that get you a better score than 99% of players on the map. and that way you can actually win games on high multi rounds.
@RoseEvans013 ай бұрын
Yeah that could be fun! I feel like smaller countries are often neglected because they're 'not important' when it comes to points - they can be really interesting and rewarding to get good at though.

This thumbnail is bad. Here is why: Facial Expression Visibility: your ugly face in the corner is small and lacks a strong, visible reaction. This could make it less engaging, as viewers may not immediately pick up on the emotion or context. Text Ambiguity: While "Yukon?" suggests a location guess, it might not be clear to everyone that this is a GeoGuessr or location-based game. Some viewers might not understand the purpose of the video at a glance. Cluttered Interface: The various in-game elements (like the compass, score, and map) can make the thumbnail look a bit busy, possibly distracting from the main focus. Simplifying the layout or removing non-essential elements could make it cleaner. Lack of Contrast in Background: The road and trees blend into each other, making the background a bit flat. Adding some contrast or a slight vignette effect could draw more attention to the "Yukon?" text and center of the thumbnail. Missed Branding Opportunity: Without any explicit GeoGuessr or game branding, it might miss potential viewers who would be interested if they recognized it as gameplay content.

How do you “study” countries?
@RoseEvans013 ай бұрын
Good question, I might make a video about it - essentially there are a lot of online resources for each country, mostly made by high level players who specialise in certain regions. I have a look at those, do a bit of my own research, and take note of the tips that I find useful/interesting so that I remember them. This site is a great place to start: www.plonkit.net/guide
