Regina's like - gtfo, pirate, Emma is MINE. 😅❤ I never hated Hook before they started that ridiculous romantic line with Emma, but the writers turn her into a completely different character to create Captain Swan - it's fake and bad written, this is the main reason i don't like it or him.

I don't like him because it feels homophobic that they brought in a male version of Regina just to have him date Emma. Like at that point, if you want Emma to be with Regina so bad, just put Emma with Regina. Hiring another actor to do so just so they wouldn't have an lgbt ship just felt homophobic.

@@poppyfan2842 I don't consider Hook a male version of Regina. She's messed up a bit, but still a Queen and a mayor. He is an unemployed drunk, robbing and killing people, riding his ship. To me the problem is that Emma deserves so much more. They created her as a strong female character from the real world, who don't fit into fairytale stereotypes, but eventually finished it with basic trop "a princess met her prince"?? I'm sick of hypocrisy I would still be a little upset that Regina/Emma didn't happen, but if they'd write someone decent and interesting and male for Emma, I'd be okay with that

0:08 hook literally aint never shown himself as impulsive or prone to resolving to unnesessary (for achieving his goals) violence*. regina on the other hand.... projecting much ms mills?) 0:42 she's literally threatening to maim a person for his completely valid concerns calling him a pirate or joking about the guyliner is one thing, but death threats 0:32 (in a completely serious manner btw), 0:50 and making fun of his disability 0:15 is not acceptable for a "reformed" villain-to-hero *correction: don't get me wrong, in his pirating days he does exhibit some instances of uncalled for cruelty, but 1) not NEARLY as much as other villains of the show ESPECIALLY not as much as regina herself 2) he actually changes (as shown by, as an example, him being distraught after punching will when he gets his hand back and succumbs to his fear of regressing back into the "ruthless pirate" or whatever) and isn't violent, nor threatening ppl left and right (again, regina does) after being turned good

This^^^ thankyou. I thought I was the only one who realized this. Life Sq fans and CS fans both argue and are both wrong. Cs ans miss the fact that Regina did like Emma And Sq fans miss the face that Emma didn't like Regina back in that way.
