The dark skin natives are still there. It’s called Mexico. Even in the Southwest USA, they exist. Oh, and they’re not Negroes.

Thanks for the video because I remember doing a DNA test just to see if I carry any Indigenous ancestry and come find out that it’s predominantly Sub Saharan African at 97-98 percent while I have 2 percent European DNA. I recently did African Ancestry this year and I am blessed to learn my maternal and paternal roots are traced to Mali and Guinea-Bissau today. There’s nothing wrong with having ancestry from the continent and traveling there. A particular black person can claim to be indigenous to the United States all they want but an actual Native American would give them a hard reality check. This isn’t to deny that there are black people in the United States who do have Native American ancestry and can provide documentation that proves their ties to one of the communities.

Basically lying again. Nothing what this guy claims is true. Not even his "Columbus saw black people". These Afrocentrists and people in general, do their research in the comfort of their homes. The old school investigators did it more scientifically. The real documents about Columbus are in Spain and everyone from Spain or Latin America know this African narrative is nonsense and it's just a soothing mechanism to make blacks feel better and get views using YT technology of course.

The Mali Empire existed from 13th to the 17th century This means if they were here before Europeans, it couldn’t have been over a century.. This would be like every white person claiming to be indigenous because they’ve been here for 500+ years.. the indigenous people of the Americas are people who have been here for tens of thousands of years

How can a rudimentary object like a spear not be anywhere but Africa ? lol 😂.. People have the intelligence to come up with spears all on their own, and the New World had plenty of gold to be used.. gold was one of the main driving forces in inspiring Europeans to risk their lives crossing that ocean
@njandrews41053 ай бұрын
Olmec civilization predates Islam by 1000 years If they actually made it to the shores of the New World, there would’ve been plenty of people who have already been there for tens of thousands of years and they would’ve got diseases from the Africans.. there was no major outbreak of foreign diseases by foreigners until Europeans arrived.

There is a difference between a sea and an ocean. The migrants are migrating across the Mediterranean sea, not an ocean.. people do not risk their lives to cross an ocean and never return with the spoils of what the new continent had to offer what would be the point otherwise?.. they never came back because they more than likely died because they vessels could not handle crossing an ocean

Well said brother man! I like to entertain the thought of black folks being on this land before 1492 but i cant stand when folks turn it to a real indian vs native vs african argument. We cant deny being decedents of africa nor can we deny slavery. Living in a country for 2 centuries before colonization counts as being native to the land in my book the same way mongols migrated here from somewhere else. This sort of information only adds more depth and color to our history.

Your ancestors descended from chattel slavery would not be proud of you acting like the people who helped enslaved you were your people. Did they help you gain freedom in America? I think not it was your own people here who fought with blood sweat and tears not those people yet you proudly sit there. Togetherness is great but you don’t trade your people for folks who aren’t your people.

I hear you. I’m Puerto Rican family as far back as memory goes back have lived there. I took a dna test and I’m 50% Spanish and Portuguese 30% Taino and the rest West African. I can see this being perhaps plausible the way you laid it out. But could it also be possible that after the ice age when humans can across the Bering land bridge over 1000 years ago settle and acclimate to their environment leading to melanin being an advantage and their then being a diverse range of melanated pigments across north and South America? Is it possible that acclimation would lead to physical changes in pigment? Another possible theory is that even before the time period of the Mali empire there was a vast civilization before the flood of myths that spanned the globe? But I’m with you at the end there has never been beef with me. Most issues I’ve had was because I’m dark and red tone with European facial features. So I never fit in to these arbitrary categories of black and white. Why can’t we all acknowledge that at least in the USA despite how we got here we are now Americans and our blood runs deep in this country. We should abandon division, aka method of control and realize we all the same species and the further you go you realize even deeper than that. There were other hominid species like Neanderthals and many others who mixed as well. Hair type color, eyes shapes are all arbitrary. I’m a lover and student of history the more I’ve learned the more I realize we are one. We are perhaps part of a universal consciousness that is experiencing itself through the fruiting bodies of life, us.

I like many aspects of your video and I assumed this was the basis for the argument that we are native to America. However, if may kindly offer one bit of advice….please consider not saying “chinky eyed” as it sounds like an Asian racial slur and I really don’t think you want to be rude or mean to anyone or hurt anyone. Otherwise, your video was highly informative and I’m sure you reached your target audience. Great topic too!

This is a good perspective to have, however there is a group who seek to essentially say that Africa brought culture here, this is simply not true. To say so erases a very large part of anyone with native blood whos culture was wiped off earth essentially. We still have yet to pick up the peace's of it and our understanding of genetics in general is very shallow. Like we know neanderthals were here before homo sapians, and we know we bread with them right? this is to say that there is not really an easy way of figuring out how genetic diversity in human characteristics happened. We are all humans at the end of the day, we all share this connection, and we are all different and being different, is not a bad thing, its the diversity of our world that makes it so beautiful, and coming together and understanding others cultures, and how we all fit into puzzle that is our planet, no piece is more important then the other, you need them all for the full picture... but each peace is beautiful in its own way, and will at the end of the day always be needed.

According to my ancestors from Mississippi, I am the offspring of African Slaves. I can't tell you which African location it may have been. I can tell you this. My grandparents were free long before the 1960's when I had the displeasure of seeing their backs and they were so whipped over it was horrible. I cannot unsee it. I waited and asked my great grandmother if I could see her back. She said no. Well, for years after I was grown I wanted to go to find my true ancestry. I never made it to Africa, but I met plenty of Africans here in the US and they did not and does not accept people that are black americans. What's funny almost noone from other countries that come from other countries accept black americans. A big question in my mind is why blacks are called black americans or african americans and whites are just called american? Well I american, period! If you call me black american, then I will call you white american. I am light, hazel eyes, curly black hair just like my daddy who had a black mom and white dad. All the different shades of blackness.
