20 years ago from comments here... damn North West London in the early 2000s was a blessing and curse for many reasons. I knew it about growing up in Neasden...

The date of this is almost certainly before 2005. In fact it would be before 2003, probably in 2002 as others have said. Many years before this (back in the 1990s possibly) there was also a very similar flood where the Cricklewood Lane bridge was similarly flooded. On that earlier occasion, I remember that the Routemaster buses were able to get through it successfully due to high mounted engines. I recall seeing a Routemaster making it through with water pouring out of the passenger compartment door as it came out. The passengers on the ground floor had all lifted their feet up or climbed onto the seats.

*1.* I don't remember this. *2.* Had to put a song over it for no reason so you can't hear what's happening. *3.* 1:30 - Every bearing on that bike is knackered.

I remember that day, it was raining so much and Everywhere was flooded! I had to ditch my car and swim home. They’re was a huge whale which got washed up aswell. It was just so amazing. To top it all off towards the Edgware Road there was a family of dolphins who swam past me. Such beautiful memories.

I know that guy at the 7 min mark who helps the man and woman with the buggy. I use to work with him years ago, he's a senior staff nurse in a central London hospital. Very nice fella but very quiet. Loved a smoke!

I don't remember a flood in Cricklewood for 2005, but I do remember we had one at around August 2002. Didn't think it was that bad, as I live near the red rail bridge, and was in some summer playscheme at the time of the incident (I was just 13 years old).
