@ yeah, I’ve heard horror stories, but this is our second DR Horton home & we have never had any issues. Obviously you can tell they do everything as cheaply as possible, but that comes with an “affordable” option, which I think it was over priced, but it’s all we can do at the moment. Our first home was built in 2008 & we lived in it for 8 years without a single issue. We didn’t plan to ever have to get another cookie cutter home again & had planned to build a custom home, but because of the current economy, this was the only home we could afford. Even much smaller homes that were 30+ years old were $100k+ more in our area, than we paid for this home. Still hoping a custom home on land, is in our future, as we have been saving & working towards that for years now.

I had a septic tank system for over 20 years and never use what is not suppose to go into it. That can be a very costly mistake possible having your septic tank needing replacement is expensive!! Just a little added advise! I know I am like a year later with this lol but I just saw this!

@@joywatson2006 agreed! I wouldn’t risk that expense either! BUTT some people don’t care 😆 I got some rude-ish comments from people saying that it’s never happened to them! And im being negative or something 😆 And I’m kind of like, well good for you, but I’m just letting people know. 🤣 there’s a neighborhood near me that everyone is hooked up to the city sewage, (not sceptic tanks) but they flush stuff down their toilets all the time and they also go down the same line as the local high school. (Those kids are also flushing stuff - the city workers have told me about it, they can tell where it’s coming from) and It’s always costing tons of money because of all the stuff they flush! But I know those people would think it’s OK because they don’t ever see the effect, but it’s coming out of their tax dollars… Overtime will raise taxes. 😆🙈 sometimes “not seeing a problem” doesn’t mean it’s not there ..

How to make a successful 'life hacks' channel: make a list of various products lying around your house. Then, make a second list of various appliances around your house. Now, make a series of videos that make you seem wealthy, and tell people to combine any item from list #1 to any item in list #2. Voila! Most people won't read the comments warning people not to trust you. Collect your KZbin cashola, and silver and gold awards and buy a new house!

How much stuff do americans need. Watching this is headache inducing, not to mention i cannot imagine live in Such clutter. Even though your house is probably 8 Times bigger than my place
@ChristinasHome
@ChristinasHome Ай бұрын
haha! And I have WAY less stuff than most people I know, so it is all relative to where you live. I will say that MOST of my stuff is "hand me downs" from family members and friends. (I am constantly turning people down who try to give me stuff, because I do not like that much stuff - I have less than 75% of the people I know -which I agree is crazy haha) So it has already been used 1-2 times by the time we get it and then I pass it on to someone else. So everything I own gets used at least 3 to 4 times (by 3-4 different families) Also the average sized home in America is 2000 square feet. So I am sure that has a lot to do with it. Many people here own much larger homes than that. All of my homes that I have owned been 1500-2000 sq feet but I grew up in a 1200 square foot home until my parents added on to make it 2000 but they had a ton of children lol Also, I should add that if watching people declutter stuff gives you a headaches, you probably shouldn't click on a video with a huge "DECLUTTER" on the thumbnail 😄

@ChristinasHome
@ChristinasHome Ай бұрын
@@aminast4026 It's okay, I am not offended =) It does seem to be very different there, but saying you have a headache implies that you hated the video so badly that it made you sick. So if that is the case, I would think that these aren't the type of videos you should be clicking on. It is so easy to get used to our "norm" but yes, if you ever came here, you would be VERY surprised at how much MORE the average family has, even than us. Though some people are embracing having LESS, America is filled with overconsumption. For us it is hard NOT to have too much, because others are always pushing more and more "things" on us. If it was up to me, I could have like 7-10 outfits tops and very few items, but I am the only one in my family who feels that way. haha! When I had a house with storage space, I had many empty cabinets! It's probably very different there, if most people live in very small homes.

It's one of those things that while it can "technically" damage things, if you have quality parts inside your toilet, they will probably hold up better! Also, if it's just a little, it's probably diluted a LOT, so it's not as acidic at that point.
