I appreciate your effort, and you were talking about a lot of the advantages of coherent technology, but you didn't explained what coherent technology actually is. For the others who watched this video to find the answer to that question: Coherent technology is adding an extra dimension - polarization - to the transmitted signal, effectively doubling the data rate over the same fiber

Sensitive data encryption should be a responsibility of end users and not of a transit provider. Adding on the wire encryption adds latency and cost for marginal benefit.

Does this mean then that, once Quantum Computers are fully implemented and 'the standard' for Businesses and Consumers, the current idea that they could not be hacked, is in fact wrong? It is my understanding that data sent between Quantum computers would be travelling as light signals and as such the data is only viewable by the Sender and Recipient of the data. However, data sent through Fibre Optic cables is also light, and if Fibre-Optic can be hacked, then logically so could data sent between Quantum computers, with a Hacker performing a MITM attack and simply copying the data stream.
