He paid it for you, so that you may have eternal salvation. The enemy is in the world is agenda is to steal you from the truth by holding you captive to temporary fulfillment which can be family which is just people, cars, home, etc if all that were to cease guess what none of that matters because that is temporary fulfillment, John 10:10 what matters most is your faith in Jesus, your soul is eternal. John 14:6 The world tries to give us these distractions to stir us away from thinking about Christ by telling us we need to prepare and work until retirement, prepare for our retirement when its Jesus we need to be preparing for because life is not promised, everyday is not guaranteed.
