Surely not a herd but a flock?

Good catch! Groups of ostriches are called flocks-or herds, especially when they’re grazing together like other herd animals. Weird though right, who ever heard of a herd of birds, but there you have it! 😊 Thanks for watching and for the comment!

NAGA, the Komodo Dragon! On loan from an Ohio Zoo (?) to OKC Zoo in the '90's. Awesome!

Thanks for the comment, and you're right! Moose are very powerful, territorial, and can be aggressive, especially when threatened. We touch on that more in the full video.

Owls are a fantastic topic for many. For I to capture more of your lesson, the sound of your voice needs a higher pitch - maybe the microphone's position needs adjustment? Thank you for sharing your knowledge on these fascinating animals!

Koalas are the sweetest creatures on the face of this earth. They are innocent, inoffensive and extremely important to Australia's ecosystem. Please...stop cutting down all their trees, and give them a break. Put an end to strip mining, the worst kind of mining there is. KLM- Koala Lives Matter!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🐨

So true, they are so adorable and sweet! It's heartbreaking to see habitat being destroyed, deforestation, development/building, "progress",whatever it is, it's so sad to see the animals lose their homes and food sources. Thank you so much for your comment!!

Oh thank you for updating owls. I’ve never found a sound that mimics one here I’m sure it’s out there so keep looking. What’s The timeline from when hatched to flight to sounds made when born then hungry then older, what they sound like in flight, fight, thirst, mating, disagreements, is so totally awesome when I finally find even one match!!there’s so many night noises. Regards to owls, how LONG until they leave the nest, stop eating from parents, do other birds attack babies? Eat eggs ? Yuk. Who there enemy’s? Crows ?,someone told me owls would take a crows head off. Thank you for any angers you’ve got. Oh I made a couple nesting boxes as we’ve had owls For so long I never thought much until new construction everywhere worried me. So now bees have takes up one nest. I can’t hire out and so many suggestions. I’m in So.California SanFernandoValley north Granada Hills and would appreciate help. My neighbors are keen as well. Thanks ever so much. We’ve quite a few new species this year also siblings as well. I counted 7 on my 5 acres which suddenly split up after the 4 th of July They’ve come around again but not together sadly to me. The ones I call seem to ancwer??? Oh. What can I feed them extra if I wanted. Where? One sounds poorly. Older but steady.
