I don’t understand why you’re showing how to do two at one time when you don’t even show how to do one properly. I appreciate the attempt, but this is not a good tutorial. putting pattern back on my closet. Wish I never would’ve bought it.

a lot of waste with these patterns; why is it necessary to have templates & Units used to sew. the instructions with the pattern are at best confusing and poorly illustrated. it would be helpful to have an accompanying video to explain the how's of the construction. I paid for a class this weekend where the instructor basically told us to read the instructions, probably will not do another one of these. the instructions/pattern really doesn't explain the differences between "units" & "templates"

First, I want to say that I absolutely love the Tea Time placemats, so much so that I ordered the pattern. I am halfway through the second video, how to sew the vein. I am also familiar with FPP, having been doing it for 15-20 years. All that said, I found the video tutorial to make these placemats confusing at best. Someone else in these comments asked for better quality screen shares and I agree. Watching the sewing from above with the top of the sewing machine in the way isn't too helpful. As a person experienced in FPP, I'm not sure how a beginner would be able to follow. Apparently there is a "pattern" to help you cut the fabric pieces you will use, but this is not explained as such. Also, the fact that you're sewing on the back of the pattern, while the fabric is on the front isn't quite clear. I applaud the effort that went into the making of the videos, but the person said, at the beginning of the second video, she was not happy to be there as she doesn't like to be filmed. Just my honest opinion here. I look forward to receiving the pattern, as it may be helpful to actually have the pattern in hand to follow along with the video. Thank you for the beautiful pattern.

I just purchased one of yopur patterns from Fat Quarter Shop online. I know my skill level will totally give me the experience demanded by your pattern. However, I fear of making mistakes that I would require me to need another piece of the pattern. I am going to have my son copy the entire pattern on his printer that prints architecture designs size of plans uses for homes, he designs homes, ADUs, random properties so I won't be so anxious about ruining a piece. I am amazed at the huge amount of papers to piece this patter, I purchased, "Wild Goose Island". The pattern is not likely a good choice( Judy Neimeyer) for first pattern for doing this type of quilt pattern. I also do not want the prescribed pattern, nor can I find those fabrics for purchase. So as I can get my fabrics together I'm going in !
@Quiltworxcom8 ай бұрын
You can order each newsprint from us if you make a mistake for just $2.25. So, there is no need to worry. I bet it will cost more for your son to take the time to copy and print and keep track of it all than to simply call us and replace the pieces if you happen to make a mistake. This is much safer than trying to to run photocopies in case any of the printer setting don't match perfectly. Wild Goose Island is not a bad choice. Reference the Macaw and Crimson Poppy Playlists on our youtube channel to find many of the blocks you will use in that design.

I am just finishing Beach House and would like to buy the extension to make it in to a queen size bed quilt. How do I find this pattern? thanks
@Quiltworxcom9 ай бұрын
Hello! You can visit the pattern page on our website. www.quiltworx.com/patterns/the-beach-house/ Click on the Buy Now, and you will need to purchase a 242C border of your choice and a 242D of your choice. You can also purchase additional replacement paper sets if you want to just make more blocks to get to Queen as well. Then, you would need to purchase a couple additional packages of the Replacement papers.

The files for the digitized embroidery can be found on our website store.quiltworx.com/category-s/2891.htm There are several options. For this quilt, you'll want the file for Valley Blossoms Bundle. the digitized embroidery files have the files in them for you to use in a cutting machine.

Hi Patsy! You can find our boxes at box.quiltworx.com. For the Queen design in the Traditions collection, we are technically out, but I am cutting a few extra and might have some left. If you are interested in that, check it out on the box link I just gave you, and then email at [email protected] and I can set it up so you can order one of the leftovers.

@Quiltworxcom10 ай бұрын
You have the option to order with pattern and instructions, or without. You can specify that when you order your kit. At least this is the case when you order through the Quiltster Marketplace. www.quiltster.com/kits/ I'm not sure which quilt you wanted, but you can use that link, then search and purchase! I'm thinking Goodnight Star, so type that in to the search bar and it will come up!
