Your next build needs to be building up proper sight in procedures lol. I get way tighter groups with a red dot .. and I’m also blind -4.25 Dude, seriously get a bunch of ammo and spend an entire weekend or 2 playing around when it cools down. You’ve got the membership, you’re better off than most lol. Take full advantage You’ll get it

@@mrRoverkane I just watched a video where the guy took his first shot at 100yds and simply dialed his scope up and over to the impact and was dead on after that. I can't believe no one has ever mentioned that to me before. I could have saved a ton of ammo chasing it.

Yea I think I’ve told you too 😂 Anyways, What I do is; Test fire at 25. Hit paper, and bring the reticle in. Then at 50 , and bring the reticle in. I repeat @100 with a 3shot group and I’m done. I do it that way so I’m not making drastic changes off the bat at 100. You can even skip the 50yd if you want. It’s just something I’m used to doing though

Good looking gun, I ran the Sandman S on my 6.5 CM w/Ebake shoots great sub moa all day. I picked up my Griffin PSR 7 Thursday damn weather kept me from trying it out this weekend. Look into some Berger 140 gr….. You should be able to reach past 1k easily with that set up…… If you plan on keeping the Sandman S on there they do have a 6.5 endcap for the Sandman ……

I purchased the upper/lower receiver with the intention to build a short 308. Can't decide between 13.5 or a VSEVEN 14.5, which is lighter. 14.5 I would use a reflex suppressor

@chrism314 I love the gun. Fit, finish, feel, trigger, weight, are all quality and very smooth. Makes my Glocks feel less than in a way. But I love my Glocks too. I also have seen guys offload their Stacattos and grab a Bul Armory Sas 2's and seem really happy with them. The Platypus 1911 is also a viable option.

@carls2210 Meh, eventually I guess. Keymo has worked fine so far. Hux are proprietary and seem ok. If I start going with more B&T's I may keep the SF hubs on them and score a Warcomp or 2 for em. Rearden is popular, but hardly ever in stock. Also replacing a bunch of mounts is expensive.

Still a bad ass rifle, I was just a Few days short of getting one of these Ironside exclusive. I lucked up and snagged a SR25 complete rifle from a dealer that got a shipment shortly after. I have a LMT MWS 6.5 w/20” SS that groups .5-.75” 5 rnd groups @ 100 yrds great gun, weighs a bit but love it….. I’m kicking around building a LMT 14.5” 6.5 CM next, can get a D. Wilson converted 14.5” 6.5 CM….. The Green ANO is bad ass looking

I have used a few diff rounds so far it loves the Berger 140 gr tactical Hybrid. I just bought some Berger 153.5 gr to try for the reach out past 1k yards. Have fun with your new blaster

@@jakemerica yea as a battle rifle is one thing, but the 14.5” has same if not better ballistics as a 20” 308. Which would be great as an urban SPR type build for a SHTF situation a lot easier to carry/transport over the 20”. Mine weighs a ton. I’ve been using a Sandman S with a 6.5 endcap, until the Griffin PSR 7 gets out of jail. The OTB Suppressor is lighter and adds less to OAL of the rifle
