Since you seal the bisque before starting, can you use cone 6 items instead? I have some pieces that i fired to cone 6, no glaze, and was thinking of using the metal and rust.

I used 3 coats on dark clay and fired to cone 5 oxidation. The surface was very different than in the past, (have not used for a while) it was rough, not glossy. It that a sign of too thick of an application?
How do I know if my glazes are copper based and not compatible??

Everyone speaks differently! This is one of Justin's favorite products and was excited to talk about them and share his wealth of knowledge. Everyone has different inflection when speaking, but we appreciate the feedback

I have used stencils with a stencil brush and a vertical dotting (stencil brush technique) of acrylic on tile, but now I am wanting to use the same stencil, which has some very fine lines, with stroke and coat. Will a stencil brush application work or do I have to use a roller? I don’t want any bleeding, which is why I used the stencil brush previously. 2:50

This is the most useless vido. Instead if playing music you should be talking and telling in steps what you are putting on the piece. Jk

The dipping version of this glaze is way better. Painting on glaze is so time-consuming and it is absolutely terrible for even base coat coverage. If you want your students to feel bad use paint on glaze😂

Hello! I love the way you showed to do the inside part of a glass. I have one question though. When we do the dilution of 3 parts of stroke and coat to 1 of water to roll on the inside, is it enough to make the piece food proof? Or I would need a coat of transparent glaze as well?
@MaycoColors3 ай бұрын
You should not need to add a clear coat.

Who has the bright idea to film and post an educational video, sales video, in a reduced size portait style. Where we cannot a see a full landscape view. Not very smart…

Because the video was filmed as an Instragram live where the video dimensions are not fit for landscape view. But thanks for your input!
