I love the paintings of Frans Hals. The people on his paintings are so confident and happy with the world.

Very nice ❤ I live here and i hope you see much more of our architecture, philosophy, green woods, sees and with luck the alps from a higher point and we have 3 rivers more and more little tiny bridges as venedig. I'm very lucky to live here. It's not too big and not too small, you can rent a bike and can have a beautiful day with a mixture of some different activitys in different landscapes nearby. We're the oldest- or the second oldest- or the third oldest town in germany (they don't know exactly 🤔🫣). It's not really my original hometown but it's my heart-and-soul-hometown ❤ Thank you for this chilled and quiet video! Because at this time i prefer to sleep in my cozy bed and don't go out 😅

hey there, i love your channel, btw i have some ski run recommendations for you. These are a few runs that i couldn't find a video about. 1. black bear 2. black pine 3. larch 4. minerva 5. aabye road (really steep, be careful here) these are all black runs, but you are free to do it at your own will, thanks for your time and have a nice day
@peacefulmoments3866 ай бұрын
Hi there - thanks for the comment. Of the five runs you mentioned, I have only skied Black Pine because I think it gets groomed sometimes. I rarely ski black runs that have not been groomed but might well give one of the ones you mention a go next season. Cheers :-)

Good question. Caliper is longer and has a nicer ski out, but there are a couple of ski lift towers to avoid. Bon Diablo is shorter and hits the ski way pretty hard. I prefer Caliper 😊

Lucky...We did the 7:00 pilgrims mass the day we arrived, but they didn't do it. The next day after the noon mass, we went and did the walk behind the altar up to the bust of St. James.They did it at the noon mass as we could still see and smell the incense. I must say, I've been to a number of Cathedrals in France, Italy and England but I have never experienced a place that left me feeling like I was 2 steps from heaven. I can only imagine what it must have been like for a pilgrim entering and seeing it 500 years ago. The history of the Botafumeiro is really interesting. Bom Camino. 😇

Felt very lucky to see the Botafumeiro. And the cathedral in Santiago was truly amazing, bested only, to my mind, by the one in Segovia, Spain.

Our longest day was from Caldes de Reis to Capellania, about 26km. The interesting thing is, while walking through the woods, I was wondering if Redwood trees would grow there. Living in the Redwoods on the north coast of California, the climate and terrain are very similar. As luck would have it, we were heading to dinner and just around the corner from the hotel was a nice coastal Redwood tree. About 32 inches across and 70-80 feet tall. Put a smile on my face.

I loved that section, so calm and peaceful. We stayed at the Bulezen Urban Hostel just around the the corner from the church. There was music and a parade.
