@@learningwith-wendywaring I took the Google Data Analytics course on Coursera and started appling when I was in course 4 of 8. I got a job in course 6. Didn't even complete the courses 😏. Got an internal entry level BI reporting position. You can do it!

Hey! I'm not so sure what course you mean but I'll be posting all the classes I take through WGU. Also, I migrated to the DA degree which has different courses than the DMDA degree.

Deciding what major is right for you is a big decision. Don't just rely on what is out there because those instances aren't going to be your exact experience. I suggest, take some free data-related courses. Check out Kaggle or the query: How to Become a Data Analyst. Discover if learning data is enjoyable for you. 🌻

thanks i appreciate that im about to finish my ba in economics(literally 1 course left) but ive been minoring in CIS and i have t found it more enjoyable i want to get into that field and eventually work with AI but i see a majority of the people talking about wgu are all doing CS so im considering just doing a BSCS or just doing data analysis. Thats great! You are so close 👏! The degree that lists AI is the CS degree. I still have some 15 courses to go, I suggest speaking to an advisor at WGU so you get the best understanding of what the program has to offer. Also, LinkedIn can be a place to connect with alumni from the CS program who can give you a better picture as to the outcomes of the degree. You could also look into a masters ... You have lots of great options! All the best 🌻

@@mekaelejigu6163 Thanks Mekael, CertMaster does have practice labs... The studying process is going to be different depending on the person and how that person interprets information. I really just focused on the objectives and how they related together. In addition, the CertMaster labs didn't look exactly like the PBQs I had on my exam. Focusing on understanding the objectives was sufficient to pass the exam for me. I encourage you to take as many practice exams as you can, this can help you know what you are understanding and what areas you need to work on. Hope this helps 👍

@@learningwith-wendywaring I passed with a 753! My advice for passing this is know your port numbers, fiber and copper standards, commands, and routing protocols. Go through the exam objectives and make sure you are comfortable with everything on there. I didn't have any questions on subnetting at all. My PBQ questions were on a ACL list, routing table, and the last one was on open that short cables as well as checking the command line for sunset or DHCP handout issues
