I loved watching it back in high school 2006-2009. Anime didn’t cover well all of the manga like most anime doesn’t but I think the manga has been on hiatus for a long time. But yes it’s an awesome anime :)

He is just revolving around the root notes and playing the basic melody of the song with a few fillers. Why are people going mad about this? Go and listen to victor wooten, mohini dey, les caypool and you guys will understand how a real sick bassline sounds like.

Well it would have been nice if the animaters put more effort in and actually accurately rotoscoped everyones fingers so they actually moved correctly instead of trying to save money....

lol, not every animation studio had a giant budget, hun. Also I know the show is about their band but they literally only play one song throughout the entire series, and the story focuses more on the drama, not the music. But you're right, it would have been nice
