From what I saw you selling, your wax melts weren't very "creative". There are people out here making SUPER UNIQUE wax melts. I mean etsy and pinterest prove that. also, the way you displayed your market table was kind of plain but good luck to what you're doing now.

The hunger games is so good, but I read the books before I saw the movies 😊 I just read The very secret society of irregular witches and it was a 3 star for me because i missed a little bit more action 😊 like you said, cozy fantasy can be a little bit boring

Hey !! I’m doing a vendor July 20th for the first time! I was wondering how much product you bring??? I have 30 in stock and I don’t know if that’s enough lol
@MahsaHammatBahary3 ай бұрын
Hey! Congrats on your first vendor event!! When I sold wax melts I usually tried to do about 4/5 of each scent as a snap bar and then a few in different shapes/ price points. It depends on the event but I would always rather sell out than have lots of stock left over! 😅 Good luck with the event 🥰

I haven't gotten round to posting them yet but hopefully sometime this month! if you're UK based, have a look at this facebook page - facebook.com/groups/1425784004357132 - it's a candle/ wax melt destash page, so lots of cheaper supplies! It's where I'll be posting my stuff once I get round to it! 😊

Never done a readathon but looking forward to your vlogs! For a few of the books you have on your list - excited for you to read The Hunger Games, hope you enjoy it as much as the films! Atlax Six - found this one quite a slog, didn't hate it but it felt like a lot of effort and I haven't managed to work up the motivation to read any others in the series or by this author. Assistant to the Villain - would love to hear what you think of it, I've heard quite mixed things but from the blurb at least it sounds right up my street. Good luck and hope you have fun!
@MahsaHammatBahary6 ай бұрын
I'd never really done one until I tried this last august, I just really like the fun prompts this one has 😂 ooh, I was already thinking of swapping out Atlas Six for a graphic novel, so I think I'll defo do that now if it's hard to get through! 😅 I'm excited about Assistant to the Villain, I hope it'll be good!

Couple more questions for you Mahsa! (also loving what I think is a James Acaster on Bake Off reference in the description?! 😅) Question 1 - where did you get the amazing book oodie you were wearing on Tuesday, because I desperately want one! Question 2 - how did you learn / teach yourself to make things with polymer clay, resin etc.?
@MahsaHammatBahary6 ай бұрын
YES! That's what I was quoting! So glad someone got the reference! 😂 The oodie was a gift for Christmas and I've just looked on the oodie website and it's sold out unfortunately! And I learned mostly through KZbin honestly! I watched hours and hours of videos on here before I even bough my first bit of clay! And after that it was just a bit of practice

Hi Mahsa, if you don't mind sharing I'd be interested to know how you decided to sell directly on your own website rather than going through an established marketplace like Etsy?

Hi, I love this readathon and am participating for the second year. My character is doing the Wild Form Druid Calling. I am in the Order of the Crecent, but we have the same book for book club. However I am not sure I will be participating in that, I don´t have a copy and my calling has many courses I need to take. Hope you enjoy the readathon and the books you have chosen :)

Hi Mahsa! Very much enjoying your channel and your videos. Re: manga, I haven't read much but a short series I've really enjoyed recently is Cat + Gamer by Wataru Nadatani. Very cute and easy to read! I've just finished my own ACOTAR reread, reading Court of Silver Flames for the first time 😅 I DEVOURED them all, just as you said this series brings me a lot of joy. Haven't read any TOG or CC yet, but they're on my radar. One of my other favourite reads this year was So Let Them Burn by Kamilah Cole - it has dragons! Legendborn has been on my TBR for ages, really need to get it read. Moving on to your next videos now to see how you got on 🤣

@@MahsaHammatBahary Damn that sucks! I have only bought tester bottles to see if I like scents. The ones I don't like, I'm eventually going to host wax melt parties, where people can pay a fee to make their own wax melts and they can choose one of the unwanted fragrance. They don't know they're just using oils I'm never going to use. I figure this is a good way to market my company, build community, give people something fun to do, and use my unwanted oils

Hi and welcome back. I’m not really a goal setter. I know it could help me focus my energy but I also know that I won’t stick to them and I’d probably spend too much time defining the “perfect goals” rather than spending that energy actually achieving the goals 🙄. Besides, it’s fun to reflect at the end of the year and say “How the heck did I get HERE?” 😂 JK. Seriously though - I look forward to seeing how this goal setting process works out for you. Good Luck 👍

Thank you! I know what you mean, it took me sooo long come up with these goals, so I'm hoping I'll actually achieve them 😅 It'll be a nice change from setting goals and then completely forgetting the exist for the next 12 months!😂

Mahsa this looks very nice and will be giving it a go. Thankyou to your mother for the recipe. Quick question:- Years ago an Iranian friend made us all a dish that was similar to Chilli Con Carne, however, he called it Stambly. I have been looking for a similar recipe for years now but can't find anything on the internet. Did he have the wrong name or is there another Iranian dish with rice that consists of spiced mince, potato and some other ingredients but resembles a chilli con carne? Kind regards.

Hello, very good information. I've seen videos that people say the wax in flakes aren't as good, and I agree. But where to buy solid wax? Like I see on videos... The quality of the products are my problem, I'm currently buying my stuff at etsy and temu 😅 And I just think how much do I have to use to smell like what it supposed to? Is far, far too expensive and quality isn't following the price... As a learner I've set up a budget of £200 😂 I'm not going to open a business just yet. I hope your sales pick up ❤ Where can I see your products?

Hey! It really depends on if you're making candles or wax melts. I used EcoSoya Melt for my wax melts and that doesn't come in a big block but I was really happy with it and for candles DCS1 is the best wax that I used and that does come in a big block! It's definitely an expensive hobby/ business to start but finding good suppliers is the key! If you're in the UK try discountcandlesupplies.co.uk/ . They have the best quality oils that I've seen so far and wax. I really hope that helps, I know it's pretty overwhelming when you're starting out! I still have some of my wax melts on my website moonchildbymahsa.co.uk Good luck! 💕
