Absolutely great. One Sunday morning I was on my way to Church. This song came on the satellite radio. I stopped the car to find a pen and a paper to write down the title and artists.

My old pap ran a rock truck for nearly 30 years until he slipped off the ladder of a triple 7 in the 90’s and had to retire after it ruined his back I showed him this and he said this is song is pretty accurate

I worked 35 years in the coal industry in Eastern Kentucky mainly for Miller Bros Coal. I appreciate this song because it’s so real it’s unbelievable. Thanks for the tribute to our coal miners 👍

I learned this break, note for note, from the tablature written by Lee Marcus. You can find it in the archive section at Banjohangout.org (tabledit file). The backup to the verses is a lot of alternating thumb roll, some call it a box roll, or a TITM roll, without any fretting with the left hand.

Hello Friends in Music I loved that interpretation is the true representation of the tradition of country music in the bluegrass style, which I here in Buenos Aires, Argentina, with my granddaughter and friends try to interpret, perhaps the only band in the world so far south. Found this video when I was doing some research on my extended family, David Williamson, I think we might be second cousins. If your grandfather was Nelson Gaylord Williamson, he was my grandmother Mary WIlliamson May's brother. Also do you guys have any connection to that new reality show, Porter Ridge?
