I have a Massey Ferguson sub compact tractor. It will not start in winter cold weather without plugging it in. I am considering buying a TYM 574. Do you find it hard to start in winter without plugging in the engine block heater?

I haven't had any problem with the TYM 574 starting. And it has been in the high teens in the day and low teens at night. I just hit the glow plugs one time, and she fires up. Thanks for leaving a comment, and I hope this helps you. Subscribe to my channel for more videos. Thanks for watching.

Congratulations buddy, nothing like taking delivery of a new tractor. Look forward to seeing some more videos I subscribed however I didn’t want to give you a little piece of advice if you hadn’t seen it anywhere yet. I bought mine just bought the same tractor set up and mine is supposed to be delivered this Friday from the same location. What I wanted to mention to you is do yourself a favor and write there where the third function hooks up by the loader pin on the right hand side of the tractor. Take that loader pin handle off of that pen. My buddy has already caught his on one of the hose couplings and bent it.

The T574 is a great tractor. Got mine in July and it has over 213 hours, with the only issue being when using the right rear independent brake the parking brake lock bent. It used almost everyday on our small farm.
