To find how to make it in that journey other than quran, you need to study the life and speakings of prophet and one of his deciples named Ali -ibn- Abitaleb who was thought by prophet himself since he was a child . And are you aware of Mohammad telling Hell is predominantly occupied by women (refer Sahih Bukhari 304, 2737a-c & 3241 and Ibn Abbas: Book 36, Number 6597)
