Hello professor, I have a question regarding CH4 molecular orbitals energies, I get the irreducible representation which gives me to set A1 and T2 and then applying SALCs I get 4 LCAO so I want to solve the shrodinger equation and thus I need to solve secular determinant but I can't apply huckel Approximation since it is a sigma bonds so i am very confused how to set the determinant for A1 since it is a one dimensional and if I can use alpha and beta Approximation in Huckel theory!! I stuck in setting up the secular equation and how to solve it to generate an Eigenstates
