Finally someone who is actually connecting the dots. He was always planning on going to the dodgers but after having a taste of mlb competition at wbc then seeing his country men win a WS title in their first year! He knows he can contribute now and he knows dodgers will eventually take care of him. You’re right in this being one of the most unique free agent situation/acquisition.

He is very raw and inexperienced.... With that being said he has a very good teacher in Stieckin, he wants to be great and ha has incredible athletic ability. In my opinion all he needs is more reps. Once he understands how to use his talents QB #1 for years to come. The term "bust" is a very dismissive label ti put on someone who has only played 4 NFL games and is really just learning to play the position.... I'm all in! My only concern is for him to avoid unnecessary hits on his body.... Who is the player you are "all in on"?

@@browersport3131 This is largely my view. I'm not sure he will end up being an elite QB over a long period time but I think with Steichen they can catch lightning in a bottle here for a few years. Seems to have great footwork in the RPO game which will be tough to deal with. Agreed health is the biggest concern. And its certainly way too soon to say he's nearing a bust after just 4 games like you mentioned.

@@evanmaroni yea. having a long career will ne difficult moving forward for any player, the play is too violent and the young players are just so good. .. I think he will have a very good 5-7 year career, a few playoff wins don't know if SB is in the cards....He has the most important quality "he wants to be great". I have him on my fantasy team and expect big things from him the 2nd half of the season...

Blame goes to both the coach and the hard knocks of the game. Probably wouldn't have needed the field goal if dude had made the interception instead of a bobbled ball going for a 51 yard completion.

Kelce really isn't giving you the positional advantage of previous years but using PPG for replacement value is a little off base. An important element for playoffs is spike week potential that just wins you a week as you guys touched on and a better argument against Kelce I think is the number of TEs who can compete with him on a weekly basis like Kittle, LaPorta, and McBride who id much rather have at (theoretical) cost in this case.
