Did you ever make a crab walk variations video? I’m ready to move on from it but not ready for full one foot pivots.

I’d love to see more videos like this! I’m trying to teach my girlfriend how to skate, and I’d love ideas of when to go.

These are all so helpful!! I’m a novice skater (at 33 ahhh 🙈) so the examples of incorrect form are my favorite. ((Also love the cast color! 💕)

I got the Sure Grip Boardwalks for my beginner skates. I have wide feet with a med arch, an they kill my feet. They rub the back of my ankle a side of my foot from being so stiff. It makes me not want to put them on. I really wish I had gotten the Moxies or something with more padding around the ankle. Could you do a review on low heel skates? I have planters fasciitis and the higher heals are pretty much no go for me now. Thank you for the video.

I never knew toe stops were meant for backwards skating and that I should be using my outer edges when t-stopping…wow, great info and thanks for sharing!👏👏👏

Incredible video! Just what I needed and was looking for! If you could please... I would love to see another video for practicing in small spaces targeting more moves and variations. It could be a series of videos... if you will. Thank you in advance.

I also carry a skate tool in my backpack, as well as sunscreen, bug spray, drink bottles (reusable aluminum bottles that I usually fill with Gatorade), and on longer endurance workouts, something to eat that won’t spoil easily. And I also wear a helmet and the other necessary pads, including hip pads that are basically padded shorts from a company named CrashPads. They set me back $85 USD, but they’ve kept me out of the hospital so far, so I will definitely say that they’re a worthwhile investment.

This is great, thank you. I didn’t realize that for the plow stop you’re supposed to stop before your feet come back together. I’m going to practice that. In regards to using the toe stop- so it’s never supposed to be used going forwards? Are there any circumstances when it would be appropriate at all to do so?
@SunshineRollerss6 ай бұрын
I wouldn’t typically recommend ever using your toe stop forwards on roller skates. using the toe stop while moving forward can put strain on your ankles and knees, increasing the risk of injury. As well as additional wear and damage to your skates that just not needed. It's generally safer to use other methods, such as T-stops or plow stops, to slow down or stop while skating forwards.

I already bought skates, but I had to watch your video because the thumbnail looked so nice. 🥰 What a lovely shop! After watching your video I wanted to have all of those skates. 😅 I'm in Australia so unfortunately couldn't get the Riedell that I wanted because they didn't have them in my size and postage is so expensive from overseas, not to mention buying skates online has the risk of choosing the wrong size, so I went with an Australian brand.
