As a child and through to high school I spend every winter in Namibia (South West Africa) in those days. Did some riding there on scramblers but nothing long distance. Just sold my K1600GTS and waiting for the new GS now. Good luck on your ride in Namibia and I am green with envy!! Be safe out there this place is not to be taken for granted!!

How does one apply for a position on the team or at the education riding center? I'm a personable, competent, capable lifelong rider who is looking for my next chapter/challenge/adventure. I currently ride a 16' R1200GSA on, off, and around the roads of western Virginia, with plans for a west coast push in 2025. Cheers, Kevin

Why does BMW keep on forcing its "Motorrad" word down our throats? It's a German word that simply means "motorcycle" in English. So if you are happy enough with us calling your country Germany instead of Deutschland, then why not just use "BMW Motorcycles"? I do.

Can the rebound of the rear suspension in Enduro Pro be adjusted? It is way too fast on the rebound to be safe, even at moderate speeds.

They are nice bikes and ride smooth. Trying to buy one but they’ve been on a delivery stop since Jan 2024 because of the adaptive headlight.

Does that mean in Enduro mode I can apply only front lever break and the bike will adjust with some rear break? Even going down hill?
Good afternoon, I’m so disappointed with my BMW, I’m very loyal to BMW, this is my 3rd BMW. But today I feel very unhappy with my motorcycle. I just lost my key fob at highway, and I went to dealership to purchase a new one, and I’m in choque US400,00 for one key ? This is insane. I purchased my motorcycle and my motorcycle come with only one key fob and one emergency key. But now. I’m using my emergency key until I purchase a new key. I don’t think it’s fair to charge me US400,00 for one key. If I don’t receive a discount or receive a new key I will re think about purchase a new BMW again. I change my Motorcycle after 2 years, but now I will look for another option, just because I need to purchase one key for 400,00. Now I’m using emergency key, make me feel like I’m driving a US 4.000 dollar motorcycle. I hope BMW care about your customers, and try to keep me loyal at this brand, and don’t try to make a lot of money in one key.
