Thanks for the video! Gave me confidence not to shorten the aux port outlet as others have suggested. Also, I wondered why you didn't just thread the 2mm fuel line down through the existing aux ribbed tubing, eliminating the need to remove the sending unit at all. Then I discovered you can't pass it through because it catches on the ribs. In case anyone else was hoping to try that. 😂

This video is so helpful! Question - do you ever have issues getting the sending unit back down from getting caught on the float arm? If so, is there a tactic for getting around this?
@Cacheola2 ай бұрын
This is not how you completely service this unit. I noticed you didn't replace the coolant orings, clean/replace fuel filter, or inspect/clean the coolant impeller. Is that b/c you don't supply the parts. The fuel filter, come on... that's critical to inspect/clean, what are you thinking. This is halfass

Usually i never remove the glow plug. Sometimes the atomizer screen will rip in half... Then you have to remove the glow plug. It doesn't really matter which way, I feel that without removing the glow plug it is faster and easier. one O ring is inside Between the fan case in glow plug housing the other is around the end of the glow plug.

So one is supposed to be dropped down on glowplug before putting on the filter? I saw one o ring, and that was the one on the housing. Didnt see any more regarding glow plug housing. And factory manual for dw4,dw5 just show one o ring on installation. But 2 one " blue prints" And i never seen a video where someone use 2 of this small o rings, just one on the outside housing towards the burn chamber.
