39:05 Actually if I may share an argument. That’s heavily plot armor arguably there, I have evidence throughout the trilogy respectfully, I’m gonna counter respectfully what u said. XD no way physically he’d been able to pull Cynder out of the golems hand. The fails the more logical outcome and I can prove it. Spyro wouldn’t be that strong. Also there’s strength inconsistencies in the game. It’s a mess and inconsistent. Hope me sharing a view/ argument which I can heavily support is ok. I think that perspective u share should be argued against and countered and at least challenged. It’s fair XD anyways let me know ur thoughts. Maybe we can discuss the game’s issues for run. And debate respectfully. ❤👊🏻 And yes respectfully Maléfor arguably would have won in that situation quite easily in fact.

The game has a lot of inconsistencies for sure, I think they probably storyboarded a lot of the main plot without having a real plan for how they would always get from A to B leaving that to the dev team to work out as part of the level design. The dev team probably just tried to come up with cool ways to change up gameplay and have action set pieces driving the story through out the level without much consideration for lore or consistency. I guess it's like how you can get shot a bunch of times in a video game while playing, but in the cutscene you die if you get shot once. A bit of a pseudo narrative dissonance thing uwu

@@VikingOtter I’m glad ur ok with my views, I do have many reasons why i argue malefor would have won logically in that qte.(ive joked and argued with friends of mine that technically since the fails the more logical outcome technically malefor wins naturally) XD I don’t like plot armor in fiction. They could have done something different IMO. Just to make it more convincing and believable. XD also yeah I agree it was rushed so they probably didn’t have much time so they made something to add action even if it doesn’t make logical sense XD.

@@Golems_victory I don’t have any strong prescriptive claims to make on the game it was just really fun to play with a friend. I just wanted to see what I missed out on since I avoided the game out of spite because of how much Spyro Year Of The Dragon meant to me cx

I’ve been nervous or at least hesitant to try something different, I agree why u had spite tho XD year of the dragon. Was a classic 😎👊🏻❤

Midday Gardens is the next home world. Don’t worry you’ll find Sgt Byrd there quite easily! As long as you get to the end of each level that counts as completing it. They’ll give you an egg and open a portal back home, they’ll bring you to the balloon once ready. Hope this helps c:

I hate this boss he's so annoying and I can't help but feel like when I'm fighting him I'm also fighting the controls and the camera really passed me off to the point I literally raged quit 😢 😡

I love the remake and I think they did a pretty good job, however yes the Buzz fight was and still might be a little broken. I never had the same issues outrunning Buzz or jumping the flame attack as I did in the PS1 original as proven by my own Spyro 3 PS1 play through

Whenever I go through to get the wings, I don't know how to fly and gliding doesn't seem to work. What buttons do you push to make flying work?

It’s the jump button, you press it twice :) Hold the jump button for the highest jump, when Spyro is at the top of his jump you press the jump button again to make him spread his wings and glide. To get extra reach use the button opposite of jump near the ledge midair: Playstation uses the X button for jump, triangle for reaching ledges (triangle must be pressed midair) Xbox uses A for jump and Y for reaching ledges (Y must be pressed midair) Nintendo I think uses B for jump and X for reaching ledges? (X must be pressed midair) Hope that helps!

@@VikingOtter Thank you for replying. I knew how to glide, I couldn't figure out why I crashed every time I tried to fly with the angel wings. I finally figured out that the controls on the directional pad are opposite. Press down to make him fly up. I kept pushing up, which made him immediately crash down... Needlessly complicated. 🙄

@@chawndel8279 Oh I see, well I’m glad you solved it c: Inverted controls were more common on PS1 and as a faithful adaptation they kept all those quirks from the original. Good luck finding all the dragon eggs!

I just finished all levels in this world but can't get the last character for the balloon! Is this a glitch or do I need to do something else? I got the tiger, kangaroo, seal, and the tiki head dude but I can't get cumulus

That’s strange, did you remember to talk to the character at the end of each level? Check your in-game progress menu and see if you are missing any eggs tied to progression. You’ll need these eggs: Sheila’s Alp > Help Bobby Get Home Sunny Villa > Rescue The Mayor Cloud Spires > Turn On The Cloud Generator Molten Crater > Get To The Tiki Lodge Seashell Shores > Free The Seals If you have all of these and a return portal in each of those levels it’s possible your game is glitched, but make sure to double check before you consider starting a new save :)

Ì have played this game lots of times. The levels which stumped me were icy peakroboticafarms and fracture hills. I've never reached the super bonus worlds in the game it's so frustrating. Does anybody have any tips to collect enough gems and eggs to reach the bonus world zones.

Just look through my videos, I have a complete playlist with all the levels as well in the description! I timestamp all the eggs so just look over the levels list and check which eggs and gems you are missing. As for gems you can press and hold one of the sticks (don’t remember which, says in the description) to make Sparx point to the nearest gems!
