Also, what type of leave in conditioners do you recommend for low porosity hair, light weight or thick ?
@BabygirledennnАй бұрын
Light weight products is best for low porosity hair. Thick products might be hard to penetrate unless you use heat tools
@_ejemmaАй бұрын
Please for the people without a hooded dryer or a heat cap or any heat tool at all, what can we use??
@BabygirledennnАй бұрын
Well, washing your hair with warm water will have to do. Use warm water to wash and rinse your hair before using your hair mask or deep conditioner
@BabygirledennnАй бұрын
Just make sure to cover your hair with a shower cap when you leave the product in your hair

At the beginning of my hair journey I was convinced that my hair type was 4c, but as I started to take proper care of my hair and keep it hydrated and moisturized, my curl patterns started getting more defined and if I’m being completely honest I don’t know what category my hair falls under 😂 Sometimes I see 3b 3c 4a, sometimes it looks like 4a 4b 4c. I’ve decided to just give up and call it type 4 hair because I have more of coils than curls. I started incorporating routines to keep my hair hydrated not only because I have low porosity hair but I want to see what my hair looks like fully defined. Maybe that way I can actually tell what my most dominant hair pattern is. Although this is something I struggle with, I definitely have more than two curl patterns as you can see in the video but for now, I have type 4 hair thank you 😂 Do you also struggle with categorizing your curl patterns? Let’s discuss

Listen!! 1. Prioritizing deep conditioning has a lot of benefits for your hair. It helps your hair stay moisturized and healthy 2. Doing a pre-pop treatment before washday helps make the wash day process easier and prevents knots. This helps your hair stay thoroughly detangled. 3. Moisturizing your hair from roots to ends is just as important as pre-poo. Most times we tend to forget that our tips and ends are part of our hair especially when we use hair oils and leave in conditioner. Your hair ends/ tips needs as much moisture as the roots to keep your hair in uniform health. 4. Protective styling cannot be overemphasized. Once in a while take a break from braids and high manipulation styles so your scalp can rest. This promotes hair growth and helps retain length. 5. Never EVER detangle dry hair. Especially if you’re using a detangling brush. You might just be tugging aggressively on your hair strands and this leads to serious breakage! 6. *Bonus tip*: Trim those split ends!! Give your hair space to grow okay? 🤭 If you found these tips helpful don’t forget to follow me for more hair growth tips❤️❤️
