The Stones could never play this live but I think the New York Dolls could have.

Sorry to be different. I have never been a fan of Exile on Main Street. Too country and western. There are so many better Stones’ albums. Horror of horrors! I definitely prefer “Satanic Majesties Request”!

🤔🤔 "Rocks Off" is the best song of one of the best albums in history... with high chances of becoming a huge hit and it was only promoted as a single in Japan... 🤨🤨 One of the best "Rolling Stone's song" and wasn't promoted... in 1972. "Music Industry" despising jewels like this became common in latest decades but... in 1972?? 🧐🧐 Ah... The Music Industry had the taste of already despising "Velvet Underground & Nico"... and they wanted more...

Never get tired of the stones, my sister and I had a chance to get 2 tickets for one of their concerts for 80 bucks apiece, that was about 25 years ago, and didn't do it, now what are they going for 800.00. JEEZ

Reminds me of the America I first knew in the 70s . I was age 10 in 1970 my sister was marrying an American & there began a lifetime of going back/forth to the USA . Amazing days ,I was so lucky .

I’m zipping through the days at lightning speed Plug in flush out and fire the fuckin feed Headed for the overload Splattered on the dirty road Kick me like you’ve kicked before I can’t even feel the pain no more I shudder to even try to guess how how many of my brain cells and how many of my dollars evaporated while listening to this song. Worth it.

MAN I swear the same dude was in the middle of traffic using his shirt as a matador with the cars and other similar scenes of an empire`s filth. Except that was on 6th and Vermont in LA YESTERDAY. BUT you know what the cars were cooler back then also.

Again Exile proves that the Stone's best work was when Mick Taylor was in the band.
@fuchsiaswing85452 ай бұрын
Or their best work was when Jimmy Miller was their producer (1968 to 1973), as Beggars Banquet (1968), and most of Let It Bleed (1969) predates Taylor.
