I just put a small screwdriver in the rear of the console, then I used a bigger flat blade to pull the clips off. It just uses 4 clips to snap in.

@@carsandcoins oh okay thanks man, and i was also gonna ask bro do you think if instead of plugging in the harness into the back cigarette lighter I plug it into the one inside the console it would work the same ?

I’m sure you can make it work but you’ll have to take the center cup holder off every time you need to switch it from 2wd to 4wd but it can be done my buddy had that same problem and he trimmed the left side where the 4x4 shifter is so I can be flush

Not 100% sure , I’m currently on deployment haha , my father is building the 66 coupe that’s on my channel at them moment . We have not gotten to this project yet . I’m assuming someone put a Mach 1 dash in it , my father ran the vin and I thought I remember him telling me it wasn’t a true Mach 1 . I’ll have to double check . But thanks for watching man !

You can fabricate a new lever, I seen one done on some nnbs forums. the manual lever is much more reliable than the electronic ones on the higher trim levels.

Buy a new jump seat like the one he took out!
