I've had the road 5 on my Duke 390 for a minimum of 14,000 km. I pump them up every week. They have a minimum of 6000 km to go IMO. The Duke is only approximately 170 kg wet weight. Looked after these tyres last very well. Performance is very good 👍

@hogueraleksander5868 I only ride on the weekends and go about 200 miles in 5 hours with a mix of highway, country and mountain roads up to the Blue Ridge mountains and back. traction control on 1 or 2. I ride above normal and the hot southern roads take a toll on the rubber.

Can you do a tutorial on this install?
@GreenDragon63621 күн бұрын
I have a short video of when I was half way thru the install. kzbin.infoDVLwFDrcPo0?feature=share It was my first time and the install is not too difficult. Remove the triple tree nut and wiggle the trip tree off. I used a rear stand only for the job. Once the triple is off you can install a steering damper bracket at this time. Remove the OEM hardware and replace the clipons. Some clipons may have pre drilled holes, these do not so I had to drill the holes for the hardware.

so with the radiator....what ya gonna do?
@GreenDragon636Ай бұрын
Right now I'm riding the ZX4R locally on cooler day, the ZX6 is my primary motorcycle for my longer rides around the Blue Ridge mountains in the summer. There isn't much room with the stock headers for a bigger radiator so I can only wait for a larger curved radiator that will fit the OEM headers.

I just went for power 6 after they were recommended for how I'm currently riding (hooning lol). The road 6 is meant to be awesome in the wet but I'm happy with the power 6 and have another bike for the wet
@GreenDragon6362 ай бұрын
I don't ride in the wet if I can help it. The Road 6 are great in all weather conditions and situations. Cold, hot, highway, country, and curves. The dual compound means long lasting center and grip for the curves.

Lowering links to lower the seat hieght., I have the PSR links with 1 inch drop,easy install. I only recommend only a 1 inch drop since that is what I have. There is no difference in handling with a 1 inch drop.

Does the Zx4 have clutch issues like the N400?
@GreenDragon6365 ай бұрын
No clutch issues on my ZX4 but there have been complaints about shifting similar the 400. Both the N400 and ZX4R share the same clutch internals and are built at the same factory. Spears racing makes a kit to help with false neutral.

I like the Ninja 400 better, with an ECU flash and exhaust the 4R is just another flavor of the month. Looks cool though
@GreenDragon6365 ай бұрын
I had a Ninja 400 for a very short time and didn't like it much. The ZX4 is a more refined SuperSport with better upgrades. The engine, gear box, suspension, brakes, frame, electronics, sound, experience, everything is better on the ZX4. The ZX4 is nearly double the price because it is a far superior motorcycle in every way.

HI, Thank you for the content! just wanted to ask, is there a reason why you got the 4RR, do you use the 6r for a specific type of riding? do you prefer one over the other for different things or was it you just wanted it. Thank you! I'm just trying to make a decision on what bike to get.
@GreenDragon6366 ай бұрын
I like Kawasaki inline 4 super sport bikes and will ride both of them. I have 16k on the ZX6 and only 500 miles on the ZX4. I just finished setting up the ZX4 and will be spending more time riding the 4 once the weather cools down. Both bikes require some customization to get them comfortable enough to ride. The ZX6 is a true SS race bike that is street legal. The ZX4 is a street bike that is track worthy. I'm enjoying the ZX4 on the country roads and local twisties. Once the ECU is flashed and the clipons are replaced, the ZX4 is very comfortable and fast enough, but requires high revs to get it moving. I don't need to Rev the shit out ilof it to enjoy it. The ZX6 is a powerful bike that has great low end torque so no need to Rev it, or even down shift. The ZX6 is a more refined bike and a lot faster. So it depends on what type of rider you are and what type of riding you will be doing. I'm very happy to have both but if I could only have 1 it would be the ZX6R because I like having the power when needed, but can get you into a lot of trouble quickly. The ZX4 is a great bike and more forgiving and will have a lower cost of ownership and may even be more fun if you live in the country, or commuting.
